going to drag on some more weeks. Colin already told us that. Good there are TEN plus Co's looking at the data. I'm amazed. I was thinking 4 or 5 tops. At the end of the day the Company is IMHO making a profit each day that goes by. We have the rock steady well 10 @ 1.2 mmscfd plus well 11a @ I guess similar. So now well 11a is back on line we should be banking a clear profit again shilst waiting for potential offers from the TEN plus Companies that took interest in the stratagic review. Disappointing the reply to the IPPC license won't be sent back (I read here at least) until end of this month but that is 2 weeks. Geoenergo are dealing with that so I'm not surprised frankly. I've always wondered whether they are partly to blame for the delays in getting permits. WE ARE NOT GOING BACKWARDS! All IMHO.

If you sell a share at 1p (the bid price from the mm would be 1p), at that point the ask price would be about 1.1p, so if someone buys that share the mm makes 0.1p (the difference between the bid and ask price. Most of the time the mm's only make whatever the spread is. So if you bought a share priced at £100 each (bid price £100), the ask price would be say £101 ish so the mm makes £1 if one share, £1000 if 1000 shares. However they are in competition with the other mm's so if the bid is £100 they can't just say the ask is £150. They compete for the business with the other mm's. That is my understanding. The like large volume as that makes them more money (the spread). Tiny volume they make hardly a thing. All IMHO.

we did not get a few 1m plus sells from traders. Clearly they think they can get more later today or tomorrow.

speculation about potential news at the AGM on Monday. Obviously there will be an update. Bid? JV? Strategic investor? IPPC permit? Other permits?? etc......... Lots of potential news that is for sure.

re-start the methanol plant (rather than move is to the USA as per thir previous statements) it is next door to well 10 and the gas field. If they have reasoned that the field could definately at minimum provide all the gas for the methanol plant and at best have plenty over to sell to INA then they could buy Ascent or do a deal to finance the development so they get very cheap gas to run the plant. All IMHO.

I was concerned the water production problem at well 11a would spell then end of the well leaving Ascent with only well 10 to pay the bills and convince any jv or takeover company that the field is viable. January's production was 2.6 mmscfd so with well 10 at say 1.4 seems to me well 11a must be at around 1.2 mmscfd at the moment. Considering they have removed debris and opened the plug (confirmed when all the water issues started) getting better than before production figures seems a possibility. Maybe 11a will do more like 1.6 mmscfd now to give is 2.8 mmscfd?? Anyway the well is back up and running so quite a relief frankly. All IMHO.

and bottom plug removed now the increased water issue seems to be covered are we not going to get MORE than the previous 1.2 ish mmscfd? The last RNS stated well 10 was running @ 1.3 mmascfd, now reduced to 1.2 mmscfd which is where it was I think before the problems with well 11a. So well 11a must have been producing about 1.2 mmscfd before. So it seems to me we may get more than this confirmed via RNS soon?? I think we will get an RNS this week to say well 11a is either back to 1.2 mmscfd, or slightly more, say 1.5 mmscfd. 1.2 plus 1.5 = 2.7 mmscfd IMHO is possible. The whole point of stopping and removing the debris and plug was to INCREASE the flow rate after all. All IMHO>

They removed most of the blockage to INCREASE the gas flow from pg11a did they not? Result was increased water which causd a problem. Now there are two water/gas separators I think there is a possibility pg11a will deliver MORE gas than the approx 2 mmscfd before. I don't see why not. Maybe we will get a surprise good RNS in a week or so. All IMHO.

WE had gas plus some water. Then most of the blockage was cleared and the bottom plug removed. That resulted in too much water (we think that was the reason). Now we have an additional hired separator as well as the original one clearing the water. I'm wondering if we will get MORE gas? The blockage has nearly all been removed we are told so presumably more water/gas/anythingelse will be coming up the well???? Makes sense to me.

before again that would be rather good news of course. I'm no expert but the problem was too much water and with the 2 separators (listen to podcast) Colin says the water issue has been overcome. So it remains to be seen if there is still what........... about 1.2 mmscfd coming up the pipe with the water! If we can get back to around 2.4 mmscfd per day per month we would be back to where we were (less the cost of renting the 2nd separator). This IPPC permit, really what can one say. Insane? Crazy? Corrupt? Once again the permit is in the pipeline (excuse the pun). All IMHO.

buys. Clearly ask of 0.9 is the best ya going to get - now it's 0.95p. Those who sold those millions the other day must be tempted to put their money back in the ring. Unlikley to get better that 0.9p, and 0.95p may not be there for long. We are still awaiting varioius permits.............. All IMHO.

says to me tomorrow is key. I would not be at all surprised if we gain a bit tomorrow, so 0.95/1.00 I reckon by close of play. Will be interesting.
