This permit as I understand it is like planning permission to build the gas processing unit.
Looking at the map on Google Petišovci is litrally where the border with Croatia is.
Then if you go East about 5 miles you have Hungary.
It seems to me a rather good position to have, well anything that could be sold to all three Countries.
Also, maybe, gas could be piped to our plant and sold on just like INA do with our gas at the moment.

Why is this twitter popular? Sounds like a pile of guano to me frankly. Ruffles my feathers a bit. I don't think there is any chance of me flying into getting an account. I suppose you can share your tweets with your flock or something, is that whay it took off?

What does it say as a matter of interest?

1. Data room was opened what...... 5 months ago for any Co's to view and either walk away, make partnership offer or takeover offer.
- More than one are still talking to Ascent.
2. Gas price is over 50% higher than whwn the wells were ast max production. FIFTY PERCENT. HALF AS MUCH AGAIN.
-What is the remaining gas worth then??
I think these 2 points alone are why many are still invested.

I think Ascent are saying all they are allowed to due to the strategic review situation.
Reading between the lines I believe there is either an offer on the table for the whole Company, or a partnership deal acceptable to the Ascent board, but with the obvious caveats. No Company is going to do a deal until the Slovenian Government has demonstrated they are willing to issue permits to Ascent. Whether the one IPPC permit will trigger the deal (whatever is is) or we will need one or both of the hydraulic stimulation permits before it is announced only the board know.
One thing I really believe is that with all three permits Ascent will definitely back in play. With all 3 permits the sp will be IMHO 2.4 to 3p. Any bid I would think would be similar value.

It's a great shame the gas price was not this high when the two wells were managing around 2.6 mmscfd per day. Just think 60% more money!!! Also obviously if we had our own processing plant although the initial cost would initially be a lot over the 15 or so years envisaged for developing the rest of the field I'm sure it would easily pay dividends in the long run.

Personally I can't wait until we are free to do what we want to do.
To not have some European court over-rule our courts.
To do trade deals with whoever we want.
To save all that money we pay to be a member.
To not have Germany dominating the club when if I remember correctly they have twice tried to take Europe over. Were they taking Europe over by being the richest Country this time?
To not have the likes of the x communist countries having a say. They don't seem to follow thrules anyway do they (Hungary etc...).
Personally I don't think Italy is a good Country to have on board either. Likely to sink the whole ship.

all. I remember Colin played down Petrol as a buyer when asked about this possibility. However Petrol are a massive Slovenian Plc with down stream gas assetts of their own (along with loads of Petrol stations and loads of other energy related Companies).
INA have always been mentioned as it's obvious that they would have to be involved in any takeover or deal unless Ascent is bought by a Company with the financial muscle to immediately start building the gas processing plant. Having said that if any gas is to be sold while the plant is being built INA would still be needed as they are the only Co that can process the gas at the moment.
