Hello. No one is doing anything until the Government agency (ARSO) demonstrate they are able and willing to issue permits to Ascent and it's Slovenian partners. End of!

1. IPPC permit received.
2. Hydraulic stimulation permits received.
3. INA makes bid fo Ascent.
4. US Methanol makes couter-bid.
5. I sell my shares and make a shed load of cash.

of what formed I think the rest of the methanol plant equipment etc.. seems to be up for sale (I think US methaol already own the other 49%). You say maybe they will buy the rest with a view to re-starting the methanol plant in due course. I agree that is a possibility. But if US Methanol are not interested in that maybe after the frustrations of dealing with the authorities over there they will sell the lot to another Company who are?? Massive methanol plant with gas field next door, with good road syatem next door too. Also Croatia what.......... a mile away and Hungary just up the road. And we all know how much methanol these people drink!!! LOL!

If they see the permits arriving maybe they will look to re-start the plant.
The gas for the methanol plant used to come FROM INA in Croatia down the very same pipe we now export the gas to INA in Croatia. They are clearly not in a rush to move the plant or maybe they are being prevented from doing so by the Slovenian authorities. If they see permits arriving and enough gas to power the enourmous methanol plant coming on line in several months time who knows!! It does seem daft to have in place an enourmous methanol plant right next to a massive gas field that could cheaply power it, then dismantle and move the whole plant to Virginia in the USA!!! I mean at what ££££????

Liberty two is the one. FGingers crossed they sell it or re-start it!! They have obviously had some sort of issues with moving the plant to Virginia, USA as they changed their mind and moved the one they bought in Brazil forst. Permits maybe........

Hello. Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. I appreciate the effort you put in to do with this board.
I would not be at all surprised if US Methanol, who bought the methanol plant years ago intending to move it to Virginia, USA have had problems getting permits from the authorities on Slovenia. RING ANY BELLS!!!. I know they bought two methanol plants to move to the USA. One in Brazil, the other right next the Ascent in Slovenia. I also know for a fact they ORIGINALLY intended to move the Slovenian one first. However they moved the Brazilian one first for some reason...........It has been moved and is close to being started up last time I checked, about a month back. I remember when they bought it some of the locals accused tham of buying it to move it. This was originally DENIED by them I read!!! Hmmmm. Bottom line is I would not be surprised if thay have been effectiely stopped from moving it by the Slovenian authorities. Maybe a permit is involved. I don't think any Ascent share holders would be too surprised.
If they are stopped from moving it they can either moth ball it, sell it, or re-start it. The last option would be a dream come true for Ascent of course!!!
