I tad worrying that is this theory is true it may be possible for somone with almost no symptoms to pass on a large anough initial dose (if they are in close contact a lot with someone) to kill. Just a theory mind! Safe to say that anyone with confirmed COVID 19 is someone you really do not want to get anywhere near. Likely initial dose and your age will deternine whether you survive it IMHO. Just glad us Brits do not usually cuddle each other and kiss each other on each cheek when we meet!

The human body needs time to create the defence to defeat a virus as we know. Time is KEY, just like Ebola.
If you initially get a tiny amount your body will still create the same defence as it would for a large amount. The body may create the defence before the virus can multiply enough to even make you feel ill. Makes sense to me.
Therefore it may be that those who show little or no symptoms have received a tiny amount initially.
But there maybe a DANGER HERE. Someone who gets a tiny amount still has the virus multiplying and it seems THEY ARE STILL INFECTIOUS. So it you are regularly in close contact with that person you may receive an initial LARGE amount of virus which may kill you. I suggest if your partner is ill you keep away from them or you may end up dead IMHO.

Just had a new run through and I make it 14 out of 429 bikes (all bikes) out of stock.
One extra product it seems plus one bike that was out of stock now in stock.
The question here is whether the fact that some Halfords shops are closed (others open for requesting product at the door, or click and collect as I understand it) is out weighed by the, what I think to be enourmous increase in visits to their WEB page, where you can get products delivered to your door, or collect from the stores that are open.
Considering that Halfords has little or no competition at the moment, the warm sunny weather, millions of people being told to stay in unless for exercise and those that are working being urged to avoid public transport so may want to cycle in opposed to some stores being closed I suspect halfords fortunes will be either same or maybe batter than before the virus. Note their garages are open for MOT's servicing etc as are other garages in the country.

I appreciate your comments. I'm sure sales ok bikes used to be 33% of their sales. There is no way that is up to date. I am fully aware motoring was their main income. Maybe it still is. To be legally on the road cars and vans need MOT's and nothing has changed there. Their Garages are all fuly open as I understand it. Some of their shops are closed which is not good of course. Not even open for click and collect or ask what you want to buy at the door, and staff will get it. Thus the stores that are open are selling anything on the shop, you just can't go in. They bring the items to you at the front of the shop as I understand it. HOWEVER there is an ELEPHANT in the room. Halfords is extremely well known for bikes, electric bikes, scooters and electric scooters. WHERE CAN YOU GET THEM FROM AT THE MOMENT? Amazon I hear you cry. So you want to buy a bike in a box, put it together yourself and if there is a problem re-package it and send it back. Also I looked at Amazon's electric bike range and was not impressed and the prices were not that competitive either (much to my surprise). No, I think most people know Halfords, trust Halfords, know they can click and collect an assembled one from thir local branch and, if there is a problem take it back to their local branch. I just checked Halfords bike stock levels and they are out of stock with 16 of the 428 they usually have. If you look at their "turbo trainer" range you will get a message that says "due to unprecedented demand they are out of stock with many turbo trainers.
Frankly I think the market is wrong. Virtual monopoly, people not wanting to use public transport so maybe cycle?? others stuck in doors wanting to get out so maybe buy a bike and cycle....??

This good weather, cycle to work, cycle to get out of house and keep fit plus almost no competition may mean more of the same. Iteresting. Clearly their WEB site is attracting many times the hits it was before the lockdown. I believe this is translating into bike buys. Note some bikes they sell are over £3K EACH.
