UK Government loan to Rockhopper to develop the Sea Lion oil field being touted here.
Excellent idea. Have Rockhopper approached the UK Government with regard to this yet? Seems to me the Ukraine/Russia war is what could well tip the balance and that has only been going on about 1 month. Is that time enough for the UK Government to consider and make a decision?? Seems to me they would only have to fill the shoes of HBR. Also with the UK Govenment on board I'm sure outher oil companies would suddenly be extremely interested.................... maybe the UK Govenment woudonly need to put up say a fifth of the cash, or less???

Seems to me it will as Navitas clearly are very interested in the Falklands potential. It involves them financing RKH up to the FID (final investment decision). Considering the relatively high price of oil/gas of late one would expect them to be making a load of money at the moment making it easy to do. Also whilst Mr Putin is still running Russia I think most people will think that the price of crude oil and gas will remain relatively high. I should think over $70 for years to come, and gas similarly high.

Waited 10 years for the exploitation concession have they not?
To finance and develop Kallak would cost millions and I doubt Beowulf could finance it on their own.
So will a larger Company now take over Beowulf and finance the Kallak mine?
Or will Beowulf find a partner with deep pockets to finance the Kallak mine?
This is a World class iron ore deposit for heavens sake and they now have the exploitation concession!! Waited TEN YEARS.

Unfortunately Mr Putin IMHO is going to be a complete paing in the rear for as long as he runs Russia, and that could be for another 20 years................ We need to get on with increasing production of gas and oil NOW.
The Sea Lion oil field off the coast of the falklands has 2C oil of 250 million barrels. That is just one small part of the overall potential. If memory serves Borders & Southern actually struck gas condensate when they driiled the darwin prospect. The whole area needs developing if you ask me.

has finally run out. Mine ran out several years ago but I did manage to brake even if memory serves. So the 21% sp dive today can be explained by the Swedish Govenment taking several YEARS to make a simple? decision thus causing eveyone one involved to tear their own hair out in dispair! LOL!
What I can see is an expoitation concession finally being granted and the potential for other Companies to get involved, meaning Beowulf might, at last make some money.#

I remember being invested here for years. My impression was the Swedish Government had lured Beowulf in to finance finding out if Kallak could be a commecial iron ore mine. Then when they proved it was and wanted to develop it the Sewedish Government did not want to know. They simply ignored letters etc... I thought it was scandellous expoitation of a Plc to have them pay to find out what was there.
Now, must be several years later I am reading an RNS that says the exploitation license has been awarded............. I find it hard to even believe to be honest considering what has happened to date. The sp actually dropped 21% on this fantastic news! LOL!!!! I then bought a tiny amount and may well regret it.
Having said that an actual expoitation concession sounds good.......... or does it looking at the sp??? Very confusing.
Bottom line is larger Plc mining Co's have got to have noticed this and I presume some will want to farm in???? Or bid for Beowulf??
