Now sp has recovered fronm £2.03 to £2.09..............

so the 8.8% drop to me is just some who missed out having tendered more than the strike price decided to sell anyway. Low was £2.03, now up to £2.07p.
Brent is $107, and gas is 247p a therm...................... CHILL.

Looks like the high cost of gas used to make nornal fertiliser is mnaking it far more expensive and indeed harder to source.
I don't think PHC's products need gas to be made. They are more like vaccines for plants. The products trick the plants into having an immune response when in fact there are no germs. Apparently makes them more resistant if germs do appear giving increased yield.
That is my take on it anyway!

We need more oil/gas to become self sufficient whilst we build up wind/solar etc...
Clearly wind/solar can't just appear from no-where to plug the massive gap.
Some "green" people seem to be out of touch with reality.
I think everyone wants us to move over to green energy, it will happen over the next decade or so.

They are substances that trick the plants into thinking they are being attacked by viruses etc.. making the plants react defensively BEFORE that actually come into contact with germs. I think much like humans use vacccines. Works very well of course. Now normal fertilisers are more expensive PHC's products should sell even better!!

the Government are open to I think all ideas to increase the UK's oil and gas output, and rightly so. Apparently fracked gas is 3 years away it says, but the issues the Russia/Ukraine have raised will be with us longer than that (in so many words). So Falkland Oil and Gas is also about 3 years off, and unlike Fracked gas, we know for sure at least the oil is there! THE OIL IS THERE JUST WAITING TO BE COLLECTED AND SOLD!!

and oil does affect what HBR get, evebn though a fair bit is hedged.
However what levels of hedging are they getting now for 2023??? Go to be oil over say $65 and gas similar level.
The sp here should be easily over £5.00 IMHO.

thought it must be above the actual price, or what would be the point? It's got to be at least £2.25 and I should think uo to £2.40. But I'm not used to this scenario so maybe I'm talking complete rubbish. I know, I know.......... as per usual! LOL!
