To talk to Angle Plc about how to get a cancers up to date breast cancer HER2 status. Roche have the PATHWAY HER2 test but you need a tissue sample.......... What they really need is a way to check the cancers HER2 status just before treatment.

Only way at the moment is by CtDna and CTC analysis of the blood. CTC by definition should be the most up to date as CTC's only survive in the blood supply for a few hours. You would have thought, as with Angle's Dual CtDns/CTC DNA analysis, dual CtDna/CTC HER2 analysis would give the most accurate result.

The companion diagnostic for HER2 evaluation before possible ENHERTU treatment is the PATHWAY HER2 test by Roche. However, a tissue sample is needed. It is not a liquid biopsy and so could be out of date as Breast cancer HER2 status can change over time. So, one would have thought a CTC assessment would be used to confirm shortly before treatment? Something Angle could do, like they did for Eisai? You would have thought the PATHWAY HER2 test could be adapted for use on the CTC's (circulation tumour cells). Or is that too simple?

An easy search for ENHERTU gives this:-

"ENHERTU is used to treat adults who have human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive breast cancer.".

Astrazeneca (or some other Pharma Co.) need to commission a trial that tests the Angle Plc/Bioview HER2 test. Proof it works could mean it becomes standard practice to send the blood sample to angle for evaluation. Or to another lab that uses the Parsortix machine. Parsortix catches alive and intact CTC's, ideal for analysis of the HER2 status. Other systems to catch CTC's can kill the cancer cells, contaminate them so they can't be analysed or catch them with far too many white blood cells. Parsortix is the gold standard in this scenario.

Of the A.I assisted microscope evaluation of the HER2 status of circulating tumour cells (CTC's) caught with Angle's Parsortix machine. Reason being for Breast cancer it is vital to know whether the cancer is HER2 negative, low, or positive to enable the best treatment. Market expects a lot from this as massive World potential being able to get this up-to-date information weeks or months after the original tumour is removed.

Fascinating. Aiming for a pill you swallow that damages a cancer cells ability to duplicate. Angle Plc providing the means to test the effect the drug has on the cell. If good news then Artios might go to phase 3 which may involve hundreds of patients to test.

I'm not sure about this other trial (ART6043). It would certainly make sense to have Angle checking and reporting the DNA damage level though.

Antibiotics should be tested with the Genedrive® MT-RNR1 ID Kit first. Not just babies in neonatal hospitals that have suspected sepsis etc....

Commissioning for the neonatal test is on the cards? Note I emailed my MP pointing this out a few weeks back. It's a disgrace and waste of money not to have the test available in all neonatal words in the UK............ and the Worls in fact. Shoud be used to test all patients in fact before potentially naking them deaf due to a bad reaction!

Be tested first to make sure they won't have a bad reaction. As I understand it people of any age could have a bad reaction and go deaf! Why target only babies? All patients who need the antibiotics should be tested first. How much money is spent caring for people made feaf in this way, let alone the mental health aspect. I'm sure Genedive would be able to reduce the around £100 cost per test if thousands of tests were done a week.

Is Astrazeneca, I presume as Angle aleady do business with them. Having said that Illumina are working with Angle, and they already have DNA analysis machines at some of the NHS labs. What about adding HER2 evaluation too?

About the Bioview/Angle HER2 evaluation partnership and the Artios drug trials. Plus, we know Angle are talking to Illumina about the possible joint promotion of the dual CTC/CtDna blood sample analysis. This analysis would be useful in any cancer drug trial. There are a few of them!!!!!!

Anything else!!! LOL! Hmm. About time we got another contract from Astrazeneca. Will it be to tests CTC's during one (or more!) of their cancer drug trials?
