CTC's including clusters of them as we know. Clusters are suspected of speeding (or possibly being solely responsible for) cancer spread.

So, this is yet another way Parsortix could be used in a cancer drug trial. To monitor if said drug stops the CTC's from clustering together. Catching clusters before, during and after the trial seems obvious to see if a particular drug works.

I am astonished large pharma Co's who could finance a trial like this have not done so, yet.

The salespeople at Angle Plc should have large Pharma Co's using Parsortix in drug trials by now in so many ways:-

Dual analysis, CTC Clusters, AR, DDR, HER2, PD-L1 etc...........................

I submit the sales side are simply not delivering the goods.

They have plenty of ways to sell Angle's services and the Parsortix system.

Does not make sense unless they are asking far too much.

The MT-RNR1 ID Kit is to test newborns within an hour. So if they think the baby needs antibiotics it is very urgent they get the results asap. No time to wait for a lab result which takes days if not weeks.

We are about 3 months since Astrazeneca signed off the two assays they asked Angle to develop. Also, Mr Newland said they have inspected Angle's facilities. They paid £670,000 for one of these assays, and I think £150,000 for the other one. The question now is do either of the assays deliver information that is worth paying Angle to use them in a cancer drug trial. The answer could be none, one or both. Only Astrazeneca can answer that. I like to think the odds are one will get the green light............. but when?

On another note I believe Angle do have a definite winner in dual analysis. They have the machine that delivers by far the best circulating tumour cell (CTC) sample for analysis. They discovered dual analysis finds about twice the amount of cancer biomarkers as CtDna analysis alone. Illumina have helped them produce a dual analysis assay panel for lung cancer. They must be looking to do other panels for other cancers. It seems to me dual analysis is the most solid thing Angle have and clearly Illumina agree.

At the end of the day Angle Plc need one of the drug trails to include "dual analysis" in my view.

The Illumina assay panel for dual analysis that is now available is for lung cancer covering 79 genes.

The other panel by NuProbe is multi-cancer covering 61 genes.

Angle can't afford to finance a trial that is for sure.

So, they need a company like Astrazeneca to take the plunge. Or any other !!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the interim, no doubt Angle are working with Illumina to "productise" the lung cancer panel (only available through Angle services side for the moment).

The "off the shelf" version hopefully will be on Illumina’s web site.

As usual loads of possibilities, but Angle really need a break!

Can't be bad. Initial sale of each machine and then sales of consumables to run said machines on going and will continue probably for years if not decades. That is guarranteed regular income backed up by the UK Governmant so not much chance of going broke. I hope!

What targeted cancer treatment is most promising. After all a simple standard blood test is all that is needed. Then CtDna analysis of the sample plus DNA analysis of any circulating tumour cells (CTC's) found (if any). This would be the "Rolls Royce" test to find any biomarkers that may be present to enable the use of a targeted cancer drug. It's all very straight forward. Maybe Angle Plc should change policy and sell their Parsortix services in Tescos fashion rather than Harley Street? The Parsortix machine takes just a few hours to catch the CTC's, if there are any.

It's incredibly sad the large Pharma Co's have not (yet) pushed this forward. Illumina seem to be the only Company “on the ball”.

This is the perfect sales pitch for starting sales to hospitals in the EU.

When the first RNS lands confirming orders from hospitals in the EU it will be exciting.

I expect the sp to double.

At various hospitals all over the NHS. All these machines will be in use 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. The invoicing dept will be seeing more and more invoices being sent out for the consumables.

We can expect more and more orders to come in for machines to be used in the NHS.

We can expect new orders to come in from some of the 15,000 hospitals in the EU now both machines have the CE mark and so can be sold in the EU.
