The rock-solid fact simply is Parsortix can catch live, intact circulating tumour cells (CTC's) that are perfect for DNA analysis. Other systems to catch CTC's use antibodies that contaminate the CTC's, or they don't catch so many, or they are swamped with white blood cells that are similar in size. So, the basic machine and what it does is rock solid, perfect for catching CTC's for DNA analysis. We know we have caught Illumina's attention. They have worked with Angle and now produced an assay panel for lung cancer for use with the Parsortix machine exactly for dual analysis. Now we hear Roche, Qiagen and others are talking to Angle. My point is even if we chuck everything apart from dual analysis in the bin there is a rock-solid foundation based on undeniable facts.

Angle should be focused on the following.

1. Dual analysis.

2. Offering to create more assays similar to the Astrazeneca and Eisai ones.

3. Getting the existing assays used in drug trials.

They can leave HER2, PD-L1 etc. on the shelf and not spend time on them.

Understand Mr Newland was delighted with the Eisai/Bliss Pharma cancer drug trial data. It was unbelievably bad luck that Eisai pulled its money out of the trial. I read in the news they had financial issues and a lot of their staff around the World were made redundant. Little if anything to do with the cancer drug trial. Angle analysed some blood samples and found 3 participants who's HER2 status had changed between the beginning of the trial and when it was terminated (quicker than intended?). He seems extremely confident a cancers HER2 status can be obtained from testing circulating cancer cells (CTC’s). If correct that is worth millions. Another trial needed asap to validate!

1. Apparently one new assay development contract similar in nature to the Astrazeneca ones was shelved at the last minute by another multi billion $ market cap Company. Could still happen. Good that other huge Pharma Co's are following Astrazeneca's lead in having Angle develop assays to test CTC's.

2. Astrazeneca. Waiting to see if they decide to use the assays they paid Angle Plc to develop in cancer drug trials.

Just one trial using one of Angle's assays is all we need to get the ball rolling.

3. Illumina. Still talking to them. Would like their web site to have Angle Plc on it. My gut feeling is Illumina are far more interested than they make out. Clearly if Angle do get a bid it might be from them. This "dual analysis" could end up standard procedure in the World don't forget. One blood sample analysis to see if a person has cancer and if their cancer has any particular biomarkers that can be targeted by modern cancer drugs. Having this tech available and not tested in a drug trial is criminal IMHO. IMHO Astrazeneca should do the right thing.

4. They are talking to other DNA analysis Co's including Roche who recently claimed they have a faster way to do DNA analysis. Roche is another Plc with the money to fund a cancer drug trial using dual analysis. Maybe they will. I just don't understand Illumina. They could too, it does not make sense.

5. Mentioned another DNA analysis Co. Might have been Qiagen?

6. Still waiting on Bliss Pharma since the Eisai/Bliss Pharma trial was shelved when Eisai had funding issues. Bliss looking for new partner to replace Eisai Inc. . Angle's own analysys of the CTC's from blood taken during the trial showed they can measure the HER2 status of CTC's that can change over time (positive, negative or low). 3 people's CTC HER2 status changed during the trial. Therefore they may have been on the wrong treatment as the cancer changed it's HER2 status. They died.

7. Trying to talk to the NHS, particularly Wes Streeting MP. Have spoken to people less far up the ladder. Illumina's machines are used all over the NHS. Adding Parsortix could anable "dual analysis" at their main lab hubs.

And months go by. It's all very good a lot of progress is being made with cancer research with the help of Angle Plc and the Parsortix machine. They now need TOTAL FOCUS on actually getting orders in and sending invoices out. It's time to put research that is not covered by orders to one side and FOCUS on making money. Further dual analysis development with Illumina plus possible follow up orders from Astrazeneca and Bliss Pharma are top of the list. Angle need a steady flow or orders now. Mr Newland needs to wake up.
