@daybando... thanks for your feedback about your personal relations in Russia... Could you please enlighten us a bit more? What type or class of people are they? Old, young, traditionalists, informed about the world, etc. ? Do they believe anything being said about Russia in the West, including what you yourself report to them? You know what I mean.... Please understand I am not trying to know your 'personal' connection, but only a bit more about Russians and the different kind of Russians, etc

with the massive amount of money US keeps pouring in UKR has all the incentives to keep the war going - they are not going to kill the golden goose by agreeing to a peace deal... the longer the war, the more money US and NATO will have to pour in - the stronger and powerful UKR becomes....

No question Russia invasion unforgivable. However Zelensky could have avoided his country's destruction by reaching a compromise with Putin and avoid the invasion. Yes, Zelensky would have had to renounce to Nato and EU membership and also the Donbas... But he then could have worked in getting all these concessions back steadily working DIPLOMATICALLy with the West... A clever President would have known the trend toward westernization of Easter Europe, including Russia, is inevitable anyway. Unfortunately Zelensky is a fighter, not a mature master of diplomacy. As a fighter his has his share of responsibility for his country being destroyed - and being in a fight he has certainly performed heroically.

don't forget the UKR foreign legion... it's growing by the day... and if thing turn really bad for UKR, NATO is already on the alert to step in... The West cannot let Russia win - willy-nilly it's now become NATO vs Russia and there is no way back to UKR vs Russia-

sorry, I feel most of the posts here assume there will be a 'winner' in this war.... Whatever the warring parties end up with and any peace deal will be purely academic... For investors' POV, the sanctions will stay on place, even if removed in some way, there will remain THE very likelihood to be re-imposed... Putin's removal/death will not change that - as Russia is not ready or prepared or mature enough for any change.
