OPTI investors were told there was a possibility of an in-specie dividend from the investment in SBTX. We were never told when or the value of SBTX in which this would trigger the opportunity; thus it has been viewed as a promise not fulfilled by some investors. My view is I do not want an SBTX dividend until the company multiple of its current value now. What, are you mad, you may ask? My logic is simple. We can argue £20m is a nice in-specie to be dished out to OPTI investors - true if you are lucky enough to hold a large holding; most do not, so it would be like giving a millionaire a zippo lighter.

However, if the in-specie is done when SBTX is nearer £3 (no typo) this would offer a much better in-specie to the less wealthy, and also allow OPTI to maintain a reasonable holding in a company that will be throwing off net cash as early as next year. This means SBTX will be in an even stronger position to soak up the shares hitting the market because retail investors cannot be locked in.

Future spin-out will not be like SBTX. OPTI was only allowed to hold 42% of SBTX (SkinBiotix) because there were UoM and staff to consider in the ownership split. ProBiotix Ltd is different; OPTI will most likely retain c70% of the company. That was what I was told by SOH. This may change, as is often the case in business. The point being, OPTI will not be diluted as you claim.

I have been chatting to both SOH and Stuart. I am hopeful I can add some significance over the weekend.

You may be right to a degree. Investors have a responsibility. There is too much regulatory info investors don't have a grasp of and seem to want DOB to assist far too much. As for ''The company is poor at engaging with investors.'' Nonsense. I would argue SOH in particular give too much of his time to retail investors. He spends too much time answering emails. It is Wllbroke that are poor. I have lost count of how many emails I have sent and got nowhere.

The study will surpass most retail investors expectations. It has mine and I had high expectation because of the calibre of Cath and Winclove.

I should add. SOH did answer the very query on investors minds, including the apparent lock-in not being worth the paper it is written on.

Why? It is my understand investors are to educate themselves. If they do not understand how the market works and how the business strategy works, perhaps managed funds are the appropriate vehicle. It is not the CEO's duty to educate.

An RNS is not for the purpose you require. It is, therefore, up to people like me, TW, proactive, etc., to ask questions and relay these back to investors.

My duty is to help where I can. I believe I have done this.

I sent out a detailed update to subs shortly after the TR1. I explain in great detail SOH's logic and benefits to both OPTI and SBTX.

Don't sully all the Indian deals with TATA's ineptitude. There are Indian deals that have produced products; you just have not been paying attention.

There's a search engine or two that does some of the legwork for you. Use keywords, like, oh, let me think...SlimBiome, Anthem, Zeon, India SlimBiome. There are others; part of the fun is discovering what they are.
