RE: Great Value21 Jul 2021 13:31
skipsharer,
I never said I was giving actionable information from a CEO. I was speaking in general terms. For example, many retail investors were panicked by market conditions on Monday, which resulted in one of SBTX largest intra-day drops, which was reversed moments after my update after speaking to Stuart Ashman. So whilst there is nothing new in the update, its timing and the content clearly offered comfort and assurance to many more investors.
No CEO worth his salt is going to give me inside information. They know if they do, they are uninvestable, not they are taking a significant risk by doing so.
A free overview:
All on track as far as the probiotic is concerned
Croda is ahead of schedule and seems to be a priority for them
News from Croda is expected any time
I have no concerns over the subscription registrations meeting target (caveat here is as I explained in the update) 100% of them may not actually buy the product. Why register then? Some investors registered for the study but did not send any data. They wasted valuable opportunities for genuine sufferers. I imagine they thought it would give them an edge with the SBTX position.
Skid,
The CEO is restricted to what he can say in an RNS. Peeps like me can extract colour and expand on the hidden message. Also, OPTI is a challenging company to understand for retail investors, even some pro's struggle. I have done extensive editorials nobody else has attempted on every aspect of the business, models, products, IP, etc. I also spent a lot of time extracting details of each step a new product had to go through before it got to the shelf. Again, nobody else has attempted this, not even the wonderful TW. Not even close!
This is exceptionally time-consuming, not to mention the time and effort gaining trust and respect from such CEO.'s. However, through my efforts, I have had an open the door to people like SOH, SA, and others that allow me to ask a question that concern investors that may not get the opportunity to ask, even though the official PR team, which can be time-consuming, and rarely do you get a response.
Sometimes, I have the answer, thus save the management and PR valuable time. Sometimes, this can be "actionable", and I mean the answer may result in the concerned investor not selling.
AquaeSulis01,
Thank you for your support. 50% of my subs go to the Salvation Army and other charities that are not my own. One I have been supporting recently is https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/twinpeteschallenge
I was not asked to do so, I just had the urge to help out. I have not finished yet.
I apologise if my tone offended anyone. People that know me I never set out to offend. It is my preferred straight-talking in simple form as possible that sometimes comes across as unfortunate.
Good luck all.
Elric
