OPTI has exposure spanning 5 continents through almost 80 partnerships and a headcount less than a football team without subs. Some investors argue the board is still light on numbers, especially if they expect to conquer the USA and China. China is covered, so don't worry about China, it is the USA which needs to be the next focus for the next generation of products.

No, New account regs do not allow the promise or expectations of revenues to be booked, they must now be in the back, this is why the debtor column will increase because some of the royalties will fall outside OPTI's accounting periods by each partnership developing commercially at a different pace. It is just not realistic to expect each partner to pay invoices and royalties at the same time, each time. The invoices will be paid fr goods shipped, it is the royalties which have different payment terms and these will be different for each company until such a time OPTI can negotiate shorter payment terms. I know the ideal window is 45 days. However, we know some partners will pay each 6 months and some once in 12 months, subject to initial terms of business as they establish their markets.

You are right. OPTI has offered up a TU in February, and I see no reason why they cannot do so this time. I would also expect a Cenkos supporting note as well. How refreshing this could prove.

OPTI moved the YE to December. Typically, OPTI announced the audited FY results during the last week of April; thus, I conclude May seems likely. I do not envisage this changing unless there is a need to announce the accounts earlier, IE. NASDAQ listing. Other than that, I suspect OPTI will need all the time required to chase the receipts.

The fact the accounts are also being prepared in GAPP format suggests that NASDAQ is closer than we may think.
