Strockdale - I understand your frustration and agree that the comany PR needs lots of attention - see my post yesterday which was directed to the new CEO, HOWEVER, still lots of positives and unlike most smaller O&G companies we are producing and have no immediate cash problems. I noticed a 4% increase in both Brent and WTI yesterday, most of it after our markets closed. The price of Oil and Gas will have a significant impact going forward although our Moroccon business seems to have fixed gas pricing. The Motley Fool article on Thursday was far more eloquent.

Hey folks I was looking for more of a "name" in the O&G industry. As per my post yesterday I was a tad disappointed but I do think that the guy should be given a chance before he is universally castigated for what he might or might not have done in his last job. If he was that crap why didnt the previous CEO sack him ? He was there long enough ! Give him a chance and dont forget we are at the cusp of something massive in Morocco and still earning from our other ventures. No cash concerns and possible M&A plus farm in opps in the future.

Very comprehensive as ever Ramerci. No obvious resons on his cv to suggest why Mitch was chosen amongst all the other posibilities. Two areas of interest however - he has "represented Serica in the companies joint venture interests" During my conversation with Investec earlier in the year they alluded to the fact that Prof Green may have considered joint venture projects on some high capital spend drills, instead of going alone. Secondly, his experience in Asset Management may help sell the companies potential to Institutional Investors. In the meantime the market seems underwhelmed today. Roll on Mondays results

Welcolme aboard Mitch - As new CEO please try and encourage your fellow directors to be more forthcoming with information and it would show us ordinary folk a lot of confidence if some director purchases were forthcoming. You also need to sell the the potential of the company to the City Institutions to drive shareholder value forward. Good luck

There are too many possible scenarios that will affect the long term share price. I still think that the company will be bought out at around 35p if M&A in the short term. If not and new CEO plus more Gas successes in Morocco, the share value will depend on the Oil and Gas prices going forward. Investec who are now the only house Broker still have a 50p handle on here so I suppose, over the long term 47p is possible.

Lots of buys today which are more than likely in the hope of better than expected year end figures, due 1st June. I expect a re rating in any case soon which will more reflect the success in Morocco.

Two 250000 trades within seconds of each other yesterday. Must be same buyer. Not insignificant buys. Generally however all still quiet. spooky !

Todays statement confirms that 31Dec 2014 year end results to be announced on 1st June. What else will be announced ?

Hi Rocker 1 people must be on hols. Unfortunately I am working but alway take a quick look at how NOP is doing. Looks like its held the price from the end of week charge higher and that in its self is good news as no large profit takers. Onwards and upwards from here we hope

Well Volcano called this at the begining of the week. Infact he talked about 6 -8p which, I am sure we would all have been happy with. Perhaps the Westhouse figure may come true one day ? The MMs are definately influencing this as the trades so far today are relatively low value. It was obviously oversold and we are now getting back towards parity.

That may explain why the trades are so quiet Ramerci. This has all the hallmarks of good news followed by better news. The current share price of 13p based on the existing productivity seems far too low and once more, no news re CEO nor Broker comment from Investec. Back In JANUARY Investec were ramping this share based on the early knowledge of the Morroco Gas finds but since then, despite the positives " all quiet" from them. They must be involved in M&A with the BOD.

Excellent prognosis of current situation Mikeygit. I believe that for first time in a very long time, the situation is starting to improve and that its thanks to Mr Keith Bush and his team. I now fully understand the strategy with Canada supporting the costs and Italy providing the excitement which in turn will drive the price North. I have also sustained losses but have recenly averaged down to help. Happy to hold over the long term.

Although relatively small values, these buys are most encouraging. Following a patern over the past week with 15 automatic 50000 buys already today.

The Financial Director e. mailed me and advised that production due in a couple of months. Refer to my post of 1st May By the way folks, have you all noticed the recent buying activity ? Doesnt seem the affect the share price though ! I am still long on this share.

As sole broker/adviser, are Investec precluded from comment/ reiteration if M&A is ongoing ? This will explain their silence since January whereas both Liberum and Westhouse have reiterated buys on numerous occasions.
