Tomorrow is an opportunity for the Chairman and new CEO to offer an open explanation of their immediate and longer term goals. Ramerci is there to ask probing questions about all subjects we have covered on here. How are they going to improve confidence in this share as Stockdale asked earlier ? When is the permit for offshore Tunisia expected to be extended ? Progress on new wells in Egypt and Gas in Morocco. Partnership intentions to reduce risk. And please, lets sort the PR out. Even the e.mail address on the website is wrong.

There is,I believe, so much to look forward to here with NOP. I have been a holder for quite a while and by buying earlier in the year have managed average down. Although still in the red, I can see upward movement with Canada fully back on line in the short term and more "Shell like" farm outs in Italy. Good luck Tezza

There have been two 250000 buy trades in quick succession following the pattern over the last couple of weeks. In the meantime lots of small sells with total value far less than the buys and the prices is still getting marked down. The directors purchase was yesterday morning and RNS last evening. Hopefully more today. AGM on Friday should prove interesting. Over to you Ramerci

The CEO has opened his cheque albeit for a modest sum. I hope others on the board will now follow him.

Worries over Greece have concerned oil markets today and COP suffering along with others. Sales are relatively low in value and this May attract some buyers. I have topped up today. AGM will hopefully provide stimulus later in the week

I have e mailed Susan Prior again this week with the same sentiment. She is very aware and has brought it to the attention of the new CEO. Dont forget this is a small head office set up in Ireland and everyone is accessible. You will be able to talk to all the main people on behalf of us loyal personal investors. I now believe that someone is building a small stake here. Over the past week we have had some significant buys culminating in another 2 x 500k buys this morning. All these purchases have happened the same way, twice within seconds of each other. Total now stands at 3.5 mill which is a cash investment of nearly £400k.

I dont know who that was aimed at TFM but you continue to deramp this share with no basis or facts. COP already have major Gas finds in Morocco and are due the drill again in Egypt. Once their Tunisian permit is reconfirmed they will be seeking partners for the offshore area between the Tunisian cost and Sicily where expectations are high. I believe that the share is worth over 14p at the moment.

Agreed. This share needs continuous news to react positively. All expected, future news should be helpful. All the gremlins are now out of the way. Additional news from Canada will help but Italy will be the mainstay going forward. I am excited about the prospects here and will top up under 8p

Agreed. Just not good enough. I understand that the BOD are expecting greater returns from the LLALLA MIMOUNA permit than from SEBOU. They own 75% in a share with ONHYM which might explain the delay. The new CEO has to address the PR issue, sell the companies positives to the City and promote transparancy. Still great assets here

This article basically backs up my conversation with Susan Prior. A more De Risked strategy through future partnerships and farm in opps.. The 20p Peel Hunt projection maybe about right for the existing assets but still seems to exclude the offshore Tunisia fields in the Med which Circle believe are the game changers for this share. I suspect that the LAM - 1 update will be next week. Dont forget Circle have partners who will need to have input when any annonucements are made which may delay the RNS

A bit harsh TFMonty. ENOC were already the majority shareholders in Dragon Oil and had attempted to buy the remaining shares at an earlier time. If they want to expand further then why not consider COP ? I notice that you have a sell opinion on the stock but previously you referred to buying once the price gets to 8p. That could be a gamble depending on the next RNS.
