I have now access to the CEO. He understands that I am a personal investor and am active on this forum. Our strength as a group of shareholders is greater than the individual. I already have a list of questions but would like some sensible suggestions from you all including Ramerci if he is still here and of course Stockdale, Stockbuyer , Gozo et al

How can we agree if you take the pessimistic attitude to drilling Stockbuyer. Look at the success of the Sebou region and aggregate the two. Don't just look at One area to prove an impartial point. I am not saying that decisions are perfect but they are not anything like as bad as you suggest.

If CEO on £240k pa he should be ashamed and the major share holders hold him to account re salary v share performance. That said sacking him and the board is no answer. I maintain that the team in place are more that capable of turning it around. I agree with Stockbuyer that Takeover would be ideal solution and still maintain that this is still a possibility. I firmly disagree that 1. the drilling success rate in Morocco is >30%. Anyone can take a term at random, ie last 3 drills, but look at the ratio of successes since last December. 2. The lifting costs in Morocco are too high and comparable to Gulfsands and 3. Potential investors in Mahida (offshore Tunisia) will be put off because of current oil prices. This is the Southern Med not the Falklands ! Shell are already drilling in the area. You have an agenda here Stockbuyer. It seems very personal re Mr Jenkins. You do however seem to love a former Chairman and perhaps the former CEO who initiated the overspend ?

I have read, with no suprise, Stockbuyers continued negativity re COP. Is he a shareholder still and if so, why cant he accept the positives ? I AM WAY DOWN ON THIS SHARE BUT REMAIN STOIC. We all know mistakes have been made in the past, lets now look to the future. Why go on about the current board > Mr Jenkins arrived in early 2014 at which time Prof Green had already set out his ambitious plans to conquer the world alone. After my conversations with the companies main broker, it is clear where they lie the blame and not with our CEO. He bought a modest amount of shares later in 2014 but at 24p and therefore invested £100k Look at Malcys blog of the 17th Sept after meeting Mitch Flegg "the management team is pound for pound as good as most in the sector" and COP is valued "at a discount to the reasonable valuation of assets which make the company vunerable to takeover" I would rather listen to him than Stockbuyer. Stop repeating the same old mantra Stockbuyer or even better, just leave the board

Not good. Don't understand why people are selling unless they are short term players who bought at just over 4 p. Not a deluge of sales so nothing to worry about. I have e mailed the board today asking them when are they going to start to buy shares and support their company

I disagree with those repeated sentiments Stockbuyer. Although the board is too large this is a transitional period and the size will be culled. Mr Jenkins inherited a company with as yo say, a "lifestye" company philosophy but the changes he has made will turn this around. COP are still productive and profitable and are now controlling costs. The rebalancing of the finances will take time. Morocco continues to do well and the current share price does not reflect the underlying asset value, net of the offshore Tunisia potential. I still maintain a strong buy here and predict price recovery to double digits before year end.

Thanks for that Stockbuyer. Is the assumption therefore that COP will want to extend credit line and KGL insist on a board seat ? Dont forget at the AGM they discussed possible acquisitions and will need funds. Personally, I hope its the opposite and the new board member is looking to assist on a takeover of COP which I still think may be on the cards in conjunction with Tunisian Farm out negotiations

The question is why ? He is a CEO of KGL Asia. A nominee director. Do KGL currently support COP financially or do they intend to in the future ? If they do, are they looking to increase funding ? As his experience includes acquisitions are there other moves afoot ? Just conjecture but interesting.

Excellent news with results at the top end of expectations. I am disappointed at the muted reaction of the markets although PR is non existent at COP despite the promises of a drastic improvement. At my firm we have just built a new website within 2 months. Why is it taking so long at COP ? We need to see the CEO in front of the Financial Press talking about the successes. I now expect a positive RNS from the last Morocco drill from this area in 50 days (forget the 30-40 promises) I ALSO EXPECT SOME DIRECTOR PURCHASES NOW THEY ARE OUT OF THE CLOSED PERIOD. Finally people what do you think the significance is from the RNS before last ? Mark Williams of KGL joining the board ?

High today with plenty of buys including a large one at the end. I think that this partly due to the recent improvement in oil price plus imminent RNS

Usual delay in releasing info as COP have to approve the wording with their partners in Morocco. Hopefuly good news this week

I have it on good authority that there will be some early retirements of Board members announced shortly. This process has taken too long but I maintain that The new CEO, CFO and existing Chairman are the right people in place to correct things. I maintain my bullish stance and look forward to a great run up to year end

Your figures are incorrect. Still 43% and yes they are all suffering paper losses as am I. You blame the BOD and in particular the Chairman but decisions to invest in Morocco and Oman without partners were made by the previous board and Prof Green before he joined. Give him and his new board more time to turn it around. Remember the Chairmans record at Nautical.
