Hi Stockdale. At the AGM for Sound the CEO was asked about COP. He said we were over leveraged and vulnerable. Sound now big in Morocco. Could be interesting ?

Good day so far with well over 1.5m more buys than sells. Let's hope for a better week next. Oil price over $36 for the first time in a while. Fingers crossed.

The prospects of farm out in Mahdia strongly linked to oil price. Brent today recovered but retreated once near $36. We need sustained improvement to help Mitch with continued discussions with interested parties which hopefully include the Major players. Meanwhile Egypt continues to worry the market. How much are we getting paid and what are the arrangements for the arrears ? Solve the Egypt cash problem asap please Mitch. Meanwhile I have topped up recently in hope of enjoying a break in Palma over Easter

Well the Court cases didn't materialise and I never believed SB and his obsession with them. The problem here is CASH or perceived lack of it and short to medium term funding. The market is worried about the possible need to raise cash from shareholders. I agree that Morocco looks sound but we are unaware of the situation re cash owed from Egyption Government. The life saver here would be Tunisia and its encouraging the discussions on farm out continue. Mitch, we know you read this board, please try and allay investors fears. .

I have checked the Major Shareholder page on Morningstar website and the 2 million sells last week were Aberdeen Holdings who have reduced holding to 3.08%. Still over 3% hence no RNS. In the meantime some decent buys today so far.

Well no more big sells today Stockdale so maybe a one off frustrated investor, as you said. We really need some positive news here to alay possible fund raising fears. I want to hear more on the Egypt situation ie exactly how much is owed and what are the repayment schedules ? In the meantime Tunisia farm out discussions still live and they will depend on short to medium term oil prices.

Still a bad day again Stockdale. We need more positive news and perhaps a suitor who can spend some money to take advantage of the obvious potential. I feel sorry for the current BOD as they have inherited debts from the adventurous previous CEO and CFO neither of whom did us any favours. I believe that once oil price stabilises we will see some take over activity in the O&G industry and COP must be an ideal prospect. In the meantime good luck to the present board who doing their best.

All sells and perhaps some profit takers. I e mailed the CEO again last evening and as always, received a prompt reply. He confirmed that his meeting with Egypts Minister for Petroleum was productive and although the details remain confidential, Mitch is optimistic about improvements in payment. Mitch also confirms, as I suspected, that the extended pipe line to Kenitra Central can be used for new clients. All looking good to me apart from share price

There must be an arrangement between both companies re the extended pipeline as COP have stated that they will now look for additional business in central Kenitra. The increased gas price will set the tone for renegotiating existing contracts. Re Egypt, we need to know how much is owed and what repayment schedule is in place. Mitch was in Egypt last week !! Re the debt, if Egypt can be resolved it will help. Finally, discussions still ongoing re Offshore Tunisia . All in all not a bad RNS

lots of trades and bid/offer changing very quickly, both ways. The share is back on radar again with much greater greater volume of trades and that is a good thing. Lets hope for positive finish

There have but mainly through a blog from Malcy of late last year when he suggested it would be a perfect fit as they are so close and COP has spare capacity in their pipe line to consumers.

That will hopefully result in improved inflow of outstanding payments from the Egyption government. Expect an RNS is so.

COP has assets in Egypt and Tunisia as well as Morocco. The impending asset valuation via the CPR will indicate a more realistic " take out value " which would be multiples of today's share price and I think will exclude Sound Energy

Thanks for that Lobon and it might explain the rise today although I would have thought the Gulfsands ex sites which COP should acquire, are more likely targets

well something is going on with over 40 trades already today. Its unheard of with COP over the past few months. Some news must have leaked. Expect an RNS soon. In the meantime lets hope that it continues
