I e mailed Mitch yesterday for up date on Egypt production and arrears plus pipeline extension to Kenitra. Although a polite and speedy reply nothing forthcoming whilst the Srategic Review completes. As usual PR letting COP down

If Moroccon assets sold we will lose our guaranteed income. It cannot happen. Take out Morocco with the rest or not at all. The major shareholders wouldn't vote for it. The Lenders however may do.

I am sure they are interested in the assets and pipeline in Morocco but why sell our crown jewels ? We would ideally want to sell or farm out the Tunisian assets or the Egyptian fields. Whatever, something going on here and expect an RNS soon

I agree with you there Stockdale. We have an ill patient here which some would have us believe is terminal. I still think that common sense will prevail and Mitch will sort it out. Too many good assets and Oil Price now well above the recent lows. I would like some more news on the Egypt repayment schedule and what is being done to clear the obvious arrears. Perhaps Mitch can up date us on this. The extended pipeline to Kenitra in Morocco is due the start in May. An up date here would also be helpful

The IFC redetermination was suspended until 16 April, hence the recent sells on concerns for that date. Hopefully it will be extended unless a solution has been found.

We are waiting for a CPR on all operations John but my suspicion is that the true asset value less debt is still miles above current market cap. Oil now at high for the year and gas prices are fixed with potential to increase. I'm still optimistic here

I did thanks Stockdale. Great weather and excellent restaurants. Otherwise my ideal break. Re current situation at COP and it's the same frustrating story of waiting for next RNS. This time it maybe critical to the future of the business. I am also of the opinion that if Egypts payment schedule, or lack of it, can be resolved we will attract a buyer for all the assets. We cannot afford just to sell Moroccon assets although I am sure there are companies out there wanting to "cherry pick"

Back from Sunny Palma and yet again seems to be some buying going on here. Offer increased to 2.75p, which is still pathetic but going in the right direction. I would expect an update re progress with the Strategic Review soon and a CPR well overdue for both Morocco and Egypt.

Hi folks. I am enjoying an extended Easter trip in Palma and just checked this site and pleased to see over 1m more buys than sells and, at last, some moderate increase in share price which bodes well for next week

I would love to think so John. I am a long term holder and still believe that there is potentially a huge premium to be made here but you have to do what's right in your circumstances. Remember, none of the major shareholders have reduced sufficiently to warrant a RNS. My guess is that they have more knowledge than we do

Well we will see. If as you suggest it is not then the price may continue to fall. The assets still,I believe, far out weigh the liabilities. Hence the option outlined in the last RNS and Sound would perhaps love to cherry pick the Moroccon assets and pipeline
