Now v close to $30 and all oil companies are well down today with PMO worse at -33%. Pending court cases are the least of our troubles as Egypt still our main earner. We need the BOD to keep cutting costs where they can and wait for the inevitable turn round in the price of oil. Luckily we have Gas in Morocco but the BOD must start to bring in some new contracts to build revenue. Investors have reduced target price to 11p. By the way, where have Stockbuyers posts gone ?

Good question Spikeyj. Our friend Mr Sockbuyer has his own agenda. Unfortunately he will not tell us what it is. I guess that he is either one of the Plaintiffs or an associate of one of them. A large shareholder would want the price to rise not fall. He certainly has an animosity to the current BOD as well as the past. Now to some extent I certainly agree that the former BOD have done us no favours however he and seems to want the current BOD all to resign, en mass, with no thought of the repercussions if they did. Come on SB tell us who you represent and what you really want ?

You have made libelous accusations against three people. Two former board members and one current. You are now saying that COP will be bankrupt and quoting $20 m potential liability. I assume therefore that you and your colleagues sold your holdings sometime ago. Meanwhile all the major shareholders remain in place. I wonder why ? I really do not understand your motives other than being a serial deramper

For you to say that the COP board are a "a group of thieves" is a liablous comment and takes advantage of the annominity on this board. Furthermore, as someone representing a group of shareholders, I would have expected you to be a little more circumspect on this issue. Finally, who exactly do you believe I am ? To confirm I am neither a Director nor associate of one. I am a long term shareholder with the only motive of trying to recover some large paper losses by reiterating the positives here.

I do Stockdale and the poster referring to the court issues is letting them get in the way of a good story at COP. We also must remember that our CEO has consistently referred to the cases as spurious and we have read nothing in the press backing up Sockbuyers claims. Finally we still have the potential 100m barrels of oil offshore Tunisia and not that far away from Italy

Hi Stockdale. I just read your post on LSE for Rockhopper. Interesting rumour and a possible suitor. They have cash and want to expand in the Med area. Another half decent day although no change in share price and most sitting on sidelines awaiting RNS re Asset Vals perhaps ?

I agree my friend. Its a long way back to where the price should be, but again today looks positive. Nine smallish buys but the spread widens and at least, so far this yr, we are going in the right direction. Some lucky people bought here sub 2p and will do very well. Us long term investors need to be patient and hope for either a total buy out or some early good news.

The updated Asset Valuations were due end of the year so expect an RNS soon fellow investors. Let's see the Markets reactions to that. GLA

Thanks Stockdale/Robbie - I have read the English version and now have a better understanding of how the business works in Kenitra and the need to establish more contracts. It is very profitable selling directly to business and in my last conversation with Mitch he did hint that because the imported Gas was so much more expensive, there is room to for COP to possibly charge more. Potential 30% increase in production but only when new clients are found. Re Sockbuyer, now his official name, I hope he hasnt left us because he did add a little spice to the forum.

Well we now know their intentions to drag the share price as low as possible. I don't believe they own any shares now as their efforts would be also hurting themselves. I guess that SB has connections with the Court Case plaintiffs and Libya Oil. Anyway this has give new investors a great opportunity to make dome quick profits. Acknowledgment at last that the current management not to blame. So why do you want to change them Stockbuyer ? How much do you and your colleagues think that the potential liability from the Court cases is ? Finally, if you are still shareholders with a significant holding at a substantial paper loss, why as Stockdale asks, are you continually Quoting the negatives ? Please explain your motives here.

I dont believe that there is any reason for COP to issue an RNS re Court cases unless there was a material affect to the profitability ie they were at risk of losing substantial amounts from the cases. I therefore respectfully suggest that this is not the case and Stockbuyer is making mischief

I had a reply which basically backs up yours Stockdale plus his reference to certain false rumours on social media ie his infrequent visits to Morocco and "often factually incorrect comments re Court Cases" He must read us on here !

Ps. Despite his local knowledge, Sockbuyer should not make mischief. Our CEO has been to Morocco 8 times not 3 visits as he has said. Let's at least try and give this board true facts
