The placing was not to fund the Botswana opportunity.
In additiion to the placing further dilution was announced in the same RNS - shares to pay for the Botwana acquisition.

It appears we are funding Kopore's retained 25% to give them a free carry (see Kopore's announcements for that detail).

This time last year was an interesting time for ARCM. Can they do better this year? Let's see what the 24th March brings? Will CASA sold ......again?

On the 16th March an RNS announced that the directors were surrendering their options at a VWAP of 6.94p. This netted the BOD a tidy sum but didn't add to the cash balance of the company.
On the 24th March an RNS announced a placing.

It will be interesting to see how the new TDEMs relate conductance, conductivity and thickness. It appears they are trying to get some sort of idea of the overall dimensions of the conductors.

It may just be an attempt to stop the collapse of the SP. I thought this morning's RNS was decent.
It is interesting to note that the RNS announcing the completion of KSZDD001 didn't once mention Mindea, even with regards to relocating the rig to Ditau. If it wasn't so totally inconceivable I would be wondering if we had changed contractor mid drill. I did think another reason for the delay may have been that KAV were attempting to confirm the drill had ended at the correct location.
I assume part if Brett's task when he is out in Botswana will be sorting out the intricacies of an ownership transfer for the MFC licence.

I think there was an avoidable error when 1 conductor was assumed. However mistakes happen and errors are overlooked, even in industries that use multiple methods of validation and the consequences of an error could be much greater than not hitting a conductor.
I would like to be convinced that KAVs's 2 conductors are now valid. One hundred more conductors being identified is not necessarily going to convince me that the models are any more valid. I'm not sure what will. Additional TDEMs on these conductors may help.
In addition my understand of GRS-1 is that it hit the proterozoic at 934m. I also thought KSZDD001 was sited to hit the proterozoic at shallower depths - it hit at 951m. Maybe I have missed something here because BT/KAV have stated on multiple occasions thay it hit where they expected.
I think we need more compelling evidence to support the models but realise it's a bit of a chicken and egg situation.

Have the cross sections for both holes not just been updated to reflect the assay results rather than the visual interpretation? The weaker mineralisation observed in hole 24 must have been below the cut off.

I am curious out the stripe of gold that appears to run along the eastern side of Racecourse. Is it just a locally higher zone of gold or is there more to the story?

There hasn't been an RNS stating the above.
If it was considered price sensitive info would an RNS have been issued?
If you think the above statement is true, does the market also consider the statement to be true and has it already accounted for it?
If the market hasn't accounted for an attractive deal from a major what will be the impact on the SP,when an announcement is made, if a deal does occur?

Should be an interesting week with the latest Casa deadline on the horizon. I see the accounts for Golden Square Equity Partners are overdue.

I much preferred when you put the various company names in lights :-). I'm curious... If ARC issue an RNS stating we've had an offer of an attractive deal from a major, will ARCM see a significant uplift to the share price? What are your thoughts?

I have very little knowledge of drilling or casing. I can appreciate that the environment is challenging and a material that provided a solution to the conductivity issue could well present other more significant issues. I know BT did mention resin casing previously- I suspect he meant composite. I agree it may be metal is the best solution available - the drilling in the KSZ is challenging and there is no point taking additional risks. If there was a viable solution to the casing issue it would make returning to the KSZ that much more attractive.

I think if the next interview is positive but 'Non rampy' it will help both the company and BT - my opinion only!

Nick certainly holds a portion of the blame for my invasion of the ARCM board. However, other investors must also take some responsibility :-).

Interesting Keith, Impact Minerals also quote some of their conductance readings. One if their successfully drilled targets has a conductance of 8000S.

I wonder if our corporate news could be a dual listing. I assume that the fact that KAV are already listed on the main market would mean that the cost and effort to maintain a second listing would be relatively moderate. This would give KAV exposure to some potential new investors. I'm not sure how relevant the SP performance is when deciding to list on a second exchange.
