I opened the interim report to check something else but my attention was caught by the cost of drilling
It looks like the cost of our 10 reasonably shallow holes last year was approx £520k.
The drilling for the previous year appears to have cost over £1m.

The above includes the cost Kopara would be liable for but it seems a tad pricy.

The last video I posted explained why A1 was an early drill target for the Canadians but then went on to explain that the conductor was too deep for viable exploration. I guess these holes at A2 are to prove Hillary's model for finding the shallower targets. I suspect you're right and th move to B1 would be due to that being their best chance of an economic discovery. In the video I posted below Ben seemed very confident for the A-C corridor and he appeared ready to sign on the dotted line once the drills proved the concept. We obviously haven't found visible massive sulphide as Ben said that would be reported. Delaying the assays to be reported at the end doesn't instil confidence but I'm hoping they will release more info on what they have found this week.

At approx 20:05 in the below video Ben says they were advised to do 2 drills per target. It appears that they wanted to control costs by only commiting to 1 drill per target but were trying to give themselves some flexibility.

The conductive anomaly was expected to be below the gabbro so what did they see or not see on the way down that meant they stopped just 10m below the gabbro.

'- A second possible discrete conductor to the west of A2, which requires further surveying.'
There is no mention of the distance of this possible conductor from A2 but presumably it is fairly close as it was found when surveying A2. I can't find anything to suggest a further survey was conducted. I wonder if this is what the second drill is targeting.

Has there been mining happening at Ka****u?

I'm now confused and would welcome any opinions on our new drill location. My understanding is that conductor A2 is interpreted to be located at the bottom of a keel but rereading the latest RNS I get the impression that we are planning to drill a different Keel next:
'The drill rig is mobilising 1,000m from its current location to test a deeper 'Norilsk-style keel' formation, on the western edge of the A2 conductive anomaly. This next hole should really take us into the guts of the KSZ and will hopefully provide us with the most valuable geological data recovered yet in this region'
I guess it doesn't matter as long as we find those metals.

I do agree significant mineralisation in the current holes together with assay results for the first 2 holes could see a really significant impact on the SP.

Seeing globules would explain their decision to drill a second hole and to place it closer to the feeder zone. If it was globules they saw I hope they don't end up going too far and overstepping the feeder source and any associated massive sulphide. I would like them to give a more comprehensive update on hole 1 when they announce the start of hole 2 including some photos. That video about extracting the core was a bit of a tease!

Coincidentally I had stumbled on the northern shield globules earlier. It is frustrating that they haven't expanded on the nature of the sulphides but your theory is very interesting. The following highlights the relationship of the globules and massive sulphide with the direction of the magma flow.

As I've posted her I've been trying to get the NOMAD to address some of the issues. I have dealt with another NOMAD in the past and they did appear to do their job (at least to some degree). I have been having difficulty getting a response from the NOMAD ( I would not necessarily expect a personal response but would expect to see action taken by the issueing of an RNS). I phoned the CEO of SP Angel this morning to ensure they understood my position and surprisingly enough I got a return call from one of the folk that deal with ARCM. We shall see what happens...
I only have a very small holding here now but if CEOs and the NOMADs are not given an incentive to adhere to regulations then companies will continue to disregard shareholders, hence my focus on getting action here.
Can I please ask that anyone else that believes the NOMAD needs to take action get in touch with SP Angel laying out the issues as you see them.

I suspect drill rigs are in high demand in Botswana. GLR currently have a very large licence area. Some of these licences had Arms done last year but I'm not sure how many. I assume the ones that have had no work will need some exploration completing to keep them 'in good standing so I can imagine if we have a dig procured it may have a lot of area to cover. Presumably we won't hear the results of any work done on the SFR licences, which is fine. BUT I wish CB would be a bit more forthcoming about what drilling is actually happening!
