I do wonder how the Botswana competition authority view the SFR land grab but I also wonder if lack of news on drilling means there is also another deal in play.

I would expect the sale of the licences to be announced this week if they are completing before the latest long stop date. The SP movement looks promising but I would expect AFR SP to also benefit from any leaks and it doesn't appear to be moving.

I agree with the fact that an RNS is required for material information that can impact the share price.

IF that article is correct then a lease for Kalaba was signed while MM was a director of ARC. I would expect this to have been notifiable and I can't find any evidence of an RNS. Additionally, in last summer's IC call I'm pretty sure NVS mentioned having someone else operate a plant at Kalaba as a potential future development - not that there was someone already doing this!!!

As you say patience will be rewarded :-).

In the annual report last year MM had 67.4m shares or 6.9% of the company. He has exercised some options since but I don't think it would add a significant amount. From the 24th March it looks like approx 35m shares from warrants have been added to the register.

BRC9 was drilled to a depth of 102m and found 0.8g/t gold for 2m from 98m so I'm hoping the chances of some deeper mineralisation here is good. I can't find my coordinate converter but I think it was close to where our most northern hole of this phase is marked on the presentation.

The lack of an RNS would suggest it could be a stunt to try to let folk exit before the next big RNS hits.

Interesting that the resistance of a court case would have no impact on AA negotiations but the lack of it might have.

It was meant as a general comment. I have already said I very significantly reduced my holding.

Good for shareholders if that is the case they may recover some losses.
1) if the court case was dealt with over 2 weeks ago it should have been RNS'd.
2) I can't find any RNS telling us about a lease on Kalaba.

One comment Ben did make in the interview last week was that they saw sulphides on the way down and also in the gabbro. I dismissed it I thought it a slight wording issue.

Ben did say today anything definitive would be reported - but XRF probably could be excluded from that. They've told us that they believe there is a conductor of some description but seem to be holding back some info on what they've observed in the core. Having pondered todays RNS I think Ben genuinely thought that the announcement was positive without giving away the whole story. There is some reason they are holding back some info and I don't think it is fully explained by them wanting to be sure. Today's RNS states their working capital. Are they holding something back to perhaps have greater impact at a later date possibly to create significant interest for either another placing or the launch of the Kanye IPO? This may be to support acquisition of 2 rigs and a strategic partnership with equity drilling ( after they have surveyed the first 2 holes). He does keep going on about how great they are!!

I would rather have heard an interview from Mike Moles after that RNS but I haven't given up hope of a good result. I was pleased that Ben confirmed that they will report all definitive results. Perhaps they will release more info from the core in the next couple of weeks and Mike will present that.

To me it sounds like they missed the conductor in drilling. I also wonder if they didn't hit the keel in the first drill as they are expecting much more gabbro in this hole. The last RNS didn't confirm that they had hit a keel.
I hope noone moved their marker stick :-).

I wonder what distance hole to hole EM surveys work and if it's possible to recover anything by drilling a shorter hole between A21 and A22?

For down hole EM will the transmitter and receiver not be one down hole and one at surface and the EM measures the response?
