Yes, when they have a resource and an offtake agreement in place then even a small cap company like JAY can raise significant non dilutive finance. In my opinion, this makes Amitsoq as well as Thule Black Sands even more attractive.

The interesting aspect of this, is that funding to bring this into production will be from debt rather than equity.

The ability to attract gearing this project (debt / equity) , given that ALBA have a similar project Thule Black Sands, nearby bodes very well for the future. I'd expect quite a significant upward rerate for JAY in the immediate future.

I'd imagine there would be the equivalent of an environmental impact assessment required, but I am not familiar with Greenland's regulations. In any case, with Lars on board then I'm sure that will go quite smoothly

I'd point out that Amitsoq has been a mine in the past, so that would count in ALBA's favour

The raw market data comprises the price and volume of a trade and quoted bid and ask prices (and type of trade O A UT etc) at that time
Its these sites, not AIM that labels it as a buy or a sell depending on how the price of the trade sits within the bid and ask, however as differernt market makers may have different bids and offers then with thinnly traded stocks then these sites may mislabel whether its an investor buy or investor sell

I'd not too much reliance on the blue / red labelling , it is often incorrect

Bear in mind that some trades may go through Aquis and many trades are reported very very late (a bug bear of mine)

So dont look at the trading data as particularly reliable. Note all the micro trades going on, that can easily fill a screen with one colour of another, but the volume is in fact insignificant.

Pretty much all of the US coast and inland waterways are ECA (Emission Control Areas) where normally ships can only burn MGO (Marine Gas Oil, which is diesel) so I think there's a great on the doorstep market there, but it would require LONOs etc

Amitsoq is one exploration season away from JORC, I'd say that would be our priority target
Its entirely feasible that the regulatory work could be partly done in parallel so its not unreasonable to see a production licence granted in about 18 months. I doubt we would have much difficulty negotiating a JV and offtake agreements.

Now that the company is closing in on well defined and credibly realisable objectives, then as I have mentioned before, I am no longer opposed to capital raises, indeed they are necessary to get us over the line. Im in Tomco too, and am expecting news imminently from there.

It is entirely probable that the commercial production phase will be with a JV partner, however, we need to bring proven resources to the table.
