I don't "know" for an absolute fact, but it seems clear to me - if the options cannot be exercised at the point a bid comes in, then that's just tough luck. Bid or no bid, makes no difference, as far as I know. He will be able to exercise previous years options of course.

It's a standard arrangement in terms of the options restrictions - I don't believe it implies anything one way or another regarding MC's aims or strategy, if that's what you're getting at. Previous years' options awards have been similar, and the options I get from my company are again a similar arrangement.

I'm invested but I would point out that article has the following disclaimer at the top of each page:

"THIS IS AN ADVERTISING PROMOTION"

... but a bid in $ would be worth more £. Swings and roundabouts as they say! Gold being down in $ but up in £ is really just a reflection of the relative strength of those FIAT currencies.

I don't recall ever seeing an RNS for MC actually exercising options. You may read into that whatever you like, but my point is that since options expire after a while, I think they have been expiring at roughly the same rate that they have been granted. Obviously exercise prices may vary.

I'm not sure about options and warrants when it comes to takeovers, though I would think in practice, once the news of the proposed takeover was made public, and the directors could trade without being restricted by insider trading rules, they would then be able to exercise those options, before the takeover actually took place.

I suppose the key point is that if MC/JM believe we have 14m ozs, then we would simply mine it ourselves, rather than sell up at a price that doesn't take that value into account.

Our geologists will talk to their geologists. Based on the evidence our geologists provide, their geologists will form a professional opinion regarding the likely size of the deposit/s and the level of confidence they have in that opinion. There are no absolutes. The extra ozs are neither fully proved to a measured level (although full actual proof only comes when the ore is actually dug up), nor are they "unsubstantiated totally unproven". They are somewhere on that spectrum, and as such will contribute to any hypothetical takeover offer, though I would not expect them to be "fully valued" either.

The SP goes where it will based on all sorts of factors, but to be fair it has not been given much evidence of these extra ounces, and so has a right to remain sceptical. Most PIs wouldn't understand it if it was provided TBH. Most of us aren't geologists. Beyond x meters at y grams per ounce, we have no real clue how to interpret some of the geologists findings, though I think there were some good in-depth reports on Condor's site a while ago.

The largest mines don't tend to start with an enourmous proven resource, though that may look appealing to an investor. The largest mines begin relatively small - start mining an economic deposit, and then, they just keep exploring and finding more and more. It doesn't make sense to pile many millions into exploration, above and beyond finding a economic deposit. Get the cash flow rolling first, and then go looking for more when you need to.

Watcher36 - you can't have been watching this share for very long! It got to 18 less than a month ago on speculation, no reason that couldn't be exceeded as the actual results grow near. No-one knows what the actual results will be of course...

If they're not good, no-one will be interested in buying us. If they are, then we won't know what price we should settle for until we've got a half-decent idea of the size of the deposit(s). More likely (IMV) would be a JV to fund further exploration and/or development costs, but first things first - let's see what the current drill program tells us.

Honestly you GGP'ers are becoming caricatures of yourselves. I'm not even invested in OMI (considered it, but passed), but 150m @ 3g/t for company less than a tenth the size of GGP is quite exciting, or at least the market seems to think so. To say so is not an insult to GGP or it's holders - be big enough to accept that there is more than one game in town though.

Seingred. If you look around, you may notice that most posters most of the time don't announce their trades. Of those that do, some are probably fibbing. Anyone who does, does so for a reason. In your case, it seems like an inferiority complex frankly. Others may be trying to influence the SP, which is conceivably possible, for a short time, in a low-volume share like Condor. In the short term, the market is a voting machine, but in the long term it is a weighing machine.

Personally, I try to abstain from a lot of this nonsense, partly as some sort of 'code of honour', but also because I mostly just find it a vexing waste of my time these days. One day, I'll probably just drop off entirely. I can do my own research and have no need of validation from strangers online.

Your posts are getting as tedious as some of those you accuse Seingred. Change the record. Incidentally though, how do you know others aren't buying? Unlike some, I have no interest in broadcasting my trades or really my strategy in general, to all and sundry on the internet.

Price-sensitive news must be released ASAP - stock market rules, to limit any opportunity for insider trading. Q3 for the BFS is the (latest) guidance we have been given, but it sounds like it's nearly ready to me, so personally hoping for earlier rather than later. Whether that puts the rocket boosters on the SP or not, considering the current market conditions, is debatable frankly, but none-the-less it's a hugely important step that unblocks the critical path to finance or sale.

What I know Seingred is that you are very selective in what you choose to focus on, and you quite clearly have a big chip on your shoulder - it's not enough to be right, you must force everyone else to acknowledge your greatness all the time. It's tiring.

No matter, for the sake of clarity, moaning about dilution is reasonable, so is moaning about the warrants not being taken up. To do both at once is hypocritical, no two ways about it.

Anyway, enough internet for me. I think I need to cut down on LSE board consumption as well as ADVFN frankly. It's definately beer o'clock.

Companies don't go bust just because the share price goes down. Debt is usually what kills companies, and (right now) we have none. So we can always issue shares to stay afloat, albeit at potentially painful dilution levels. Barring going bankrupt (I'm blaming that suggestion mostly on the heat), then we'll only get taken over at a low price if we the shareholders agree (yes JM has a lot and so his decision carries a bigger sway, but still only 20-odd percent). The SP may well go below 20p due to low liquidity and the issues DDD has mentioned. But that in itself really doesn't mean much at all, except as Seingred points out, a good point at which to buy for the upswing.

Complain when there's dilution, complain when warrants expire! Just can't win with some people!
