The conditions include the approval in China from each of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE). Completion of the Kodal Group Funding Transaction is also subject to the admission of shares issued pursuant to the Kodal Subscription to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange ("Admission") becoming effective. Sounds like it, but I think there must still be some sign offs in Mali to do before it’s confirmed, as there may be some other conditions/admin to do there but great to see companies house being updated, that’s huge news.

Kodal, KMUK and Xinmao have entered into an implementation and subscription agreement (the "KMUK Implementation and Subscription Agreement") pursuant to which Xinmao has conditionally agreed to subscribe for 5,100 ordinary shares in KMUK (representing 51% of the issued shares on completion (prior to the Mali Stake)) for an aggregate subscription amount of US$94.34 million

Could the hold up be due to ongoing negotiations between how much the state takes perhaps? Think it’s currently 10 per cent from memory with no charge with potentially another 10 per cent paid for at market value? No doubt they’ll want to secure the deal regardless as it benefits both parties to get it done as soon as they can.

As someone quite rightly pointed out it’s currently rainy season June-September so even if the funds landed now, they probably wouldn’t be able to do much construction of the mine. Fundamentals haven’t changed just needing patience.

Leo lithium is NEXT door quite literally. They are just further ahead than kodal. Lithium won’t exactly go anywhere though!

They have 100km2 plot.

Kodal has 350km2 plot (current license 97 km2). If you were to extrapolate this that’s £1.93 Bn as a crude method.

If lithium does somehow go tits up (it won’t) we have 350k worth of gold just for Fatou MTE so work to be done but if that holds that’s £527m.

So try again, as I’ve said fundamentals are key and the best possible comparison we have is Leo, it’s right next door, and no reason whatsoever in that kodal can’t at the very least achieve their market cap.

To all, seems there are many bitter disruptors who quite frankly should learn that fundamentals in a stock are key. They have clearly had their fingers burnt via other poor choices they’ve made investing and are keen to spread this vile negative hatred. Kodal’s fundamentals are exceptionally strong. Look at the lassonde curve. We haven’t had the big increase yet, big iis are waiting for funding to drop, when that drops there should be a massive increase in sp. Then when construction finishes c sep to nov 2024 then hopefully we will have a top 10 in the world lithium monster (Leo is 5th at the mo). Yep totally agree, nothing has changed, amazingly strong fundamentals. ZERO debt (some jealous prem holders should realise that’s key!), £617m profit just to kodal using current lithium price, over just 4 years…with no upside in resource nor gold. Hainan are absolutely committed, just a waiting game. No doubt more drilling results to come which I think will be massive. Top up time 👌

Yep agreed, all of the articles I’ve seen recently including ones from china continually say Hainan and one hundred per cent committed to the project, plus also are keen for the gold too. They are building their own processing plant so why in earth would they bail on what’s likely a top 10 in the world lithium resource with good quality lithium too (Leo currently number 5 as an example but we have 3.5x the land next door). If they did bail then where are they going to find their lithium? No doubt Hainan and kodal are fully committed and in it for the long term (they did even mention in one RNS about exploiting other African countries together as one so clearly they have a very strong relationship).

If good news does land tomorrrow (I think we are in for another extension) then it will blow tomorrow as it’s pay day!
