Egdon Resources plc (AIM:EDR) advises that its planning application for a side-track drilling operation, associated testing and long-term oil production at the Biscathorpe site, was refused at today's meeting of the Lincolnshire County Council Planning Committee.

The application had been recommended for approval by Lincolnshire County Council's planning officers.

We will await the formal decision notice before taking advice and considering our options including an appeal.

My mistake Bacalaoo and to you and everyone else who read my post I apologise for the misinformation , he sold the £12m in April and as you quite rightly point out he bought the shares last week.

Tom Joule selling £12m of shares last week would be my guess.

Bought my first lot at 370p years ago and bunged them in the bottom drawer when they just spiralled downwards. Have been adding occasionally over last 18 months and got my average down to 250p. More than happy to see this sp. Patience has payed off eventually!

I added another 20% to my holding a few days ago. My average is now the same as the current SP. I’m intending to hold for many years all being well, return of the divi etc and continued SP growth. Im sure we’ll be at around £2.50 this time next year if not sooner.

Apologies to all. I received a letter from First Direct (I have my share ISA with them) giving me this information. I actually tried a dummy trade today and it said it was suspended. So I don’t know if First Direct have decided to suspend themselves.. it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve screwed up, they sent me a letter a few years ago saying the dividend with BDEV was to be cancelled. I immediately sold my holding.. a few days later they sent another letter saying they made a mistake and the divi wasn’t cancelled. I was fuming and ordered them to buy back the shares at the price I had sold as they had risen in the meantime..anyway they agreed and bought them back..
I shouldn’t have passed the information on about WRES suspension, I can only apologise again.

I think the same as you on price. I am a lth and used to receive £2300 a year divi on my holding a couple of years ago. Was always a good divi. I sold out at 130p ish and then bought back in before COVID unfortunately, but now have 94p avg. I hope Ralph doesn’t let it go cheap, I’m gonna miss the divi’s if it does sell. But I’m more than happy not to sell and reap the rewards over future years.

May 2015 the share price was around 170p. Now that would be a nice offer!
