Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Happy it's dropped. Not sure there will be significant news for a while and I wanted to add- but not in the 50s.
Just pleased I didn't listen to the usual 'It's yer last chance' talk.
I'm not getting excited. It's done this before. Just nice seeing it travel in the right direction though.
I'm not sure that there would be a big RNS just after a director buy.
Board talk has the tinniest of impacts on share price, if at all. That's why I don't know why folk take so much time on it.
There have been thousands of evangelical posts on here and they have made no difference. It follows that the de-ramping posts will be the same.
@Bumble1968
I've been here for too long to bail out now buddy. It's in the bottom drawer tucked away. I'll open it one day to find a stinking pile of poo or a bar of solid gold.
How many times have I heard that this opportunity won't arise again ?
I've been invested here two years and have no plans on selling out. But I am tired of the evangelism. In some cases tons of posts. It's why I rarely visit now.
There is a house across the road from here. If I bought it I could do all sorts of things and make it a palace. Then sell at a huge profit. Right ?
Well, sort of. But I could also be wrong. I can't afford that house and would need help. I would need a lot of things to fall into place. And then there is the property market itself. Would I get that return after the investment ?
And thus you have Alien Metals and every other explorer. No matter how much we expound the possibilities of swimming pools, lavish gardens, and very rich person wanting a piece of it. Investing in that house is a risk. And thus this share is a risk.
That's why it is the price it is. You pays yer money- you may, or may not, have made the right choice.
Paid de-ramping is a fruitless task anyway. What goes on in the board has no affect on the share price whatsoever.
I think the problem is that some folk invest too much time on these boards and seem to form a cult of positive delirium.
Just because someone raises questions doesn't make them a de-ramper.
I'm invested here and have a lot of concerns. But me talking about them makes no difference to the share price.
Folk can say what they feel. This isn't North Korea.
Whilst I'm not in disagreement that some of the excitement is miss-placed here, I would tend to avoid anyone who says ' in my honest and always correct opinion'.
Is there a parrot in here ?
Thanks, I didn't know. I though the 37 above was the weather forecast in the Sahara.
So what have we established here ?
1) The doom mongers (some of whom really need to ask themselves why they have got nothing better to do than to troll this board) are clearly distressed that the price didn't plummet straight away.
2) The Excitables got excited without due cause when the price didn't plummet
3) 99% of folk on this board have no clue about what will happen. And their discussions will make no difference to price anyway.
The comments on here have zero influence on the price.
It is confusing why some folk are so deluded as to think they do.
Yet some make innumerable posts thinking so. Very strange.
It was always going to fall back. It's one of the reasons I didn't call in yesterday. Many on board behaving like excitable school kids and it gets harder for rational discussion- especially when anyone who remotely flags a note of caution is called a de-ramper, sometimes by accounts with tons of happy forecasting posts in this section.... :-)
I took the news as a step forward. So was quietly pleased. But I'm aware there is many a slip twixt cup and lip, so will not be increasing my investment.
It won't be a penny anytime soon. But the day that it does may be a little closer. DYOR.
It always was going to go down. Yesterday was good news, but there is nothing to sustain the rise at the moment.
It's only when something game changing happens that this will kick on (JV, production etc)
It's why I don't pop by much now. That and the need to avoid the evangelical ramping (or de-ramping)
I actually added some more yesterday.
I've been invested here in the long term and am (a little more uncomfortably than before) happy to leave it.
I haven't looked in here for a while though. I only look out for RNS.
One of the reason is the endless tosh. Quite how a poster with thousands of evangelical posts in two years can be taken seriously is beyond me. I take notice of rampers even less than de-rampers.
How did your 50p by the end of last week prediction go, Goldy ?
@Chrisatbirdies
Bit of confusion there buddy. I'm referring to the new tenant who self identifies as a medicinal mix. Not yourself.
So do we call you Chris or Lemsip ?
If you are now identifying as a cold medicine I think we should respect that.
I'm no expert, but it seems I have called most things right here because I've chosen to look through a clear glass.
It seemed to me that Mexico was a vanity project and the whole focus should have been in Australia where there is much opportunity.
If I could see that, heaven knows why the management couldn't.
Today's RNS is GOOD news, as is the change in direction.
I'm just annoyed that so much has been spent on this.
I stopped reading the board for a while as I can't get my head round why posters have formed a cult following of one or two members who pump (thousands in one case) of posts in that declare the best junior miner on AIM and a bagger galore.
Anyway, dose of reality finally consumed, I think we can move forward from here and build on the solid stuff that has show real prospects.
So today has been a good one.
I'm really annoyed with you Goldy.
You promised me 50p by Friday.
I've go to cancel my buy order now.
Goldy,
Trolls always get their karma.
I shouldn't, but I actually feel sorry for people like you.
