The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Why ?
1) I enjoy reading what folk have to say about the share, when they know about about the stock- whether they have a positive or negative outlook.
2) I'm invested- so have a natural interest
3) I try to encourage, without resorting to abuse, others to stay away if their intention is to disrupt.
Your turn to answer my question now.
Not sure how I'm guessing your circumstances though. You did suggest through your posts that you weren't invested before and I'm not sure it's guesswork when someone encourages others to jump ship.
But anyway, your turn to say why you are here- especially when the price has dropped.
Yes, Chris. We know your thoughts. Others think that there are prospects. Some, like me, have invested for the long term. We have decided it is worth it on what we have seen so far. But we will need to wait another 18 months. And, of course, many a slip twixt cup and lip.
However, the issue with you is that you have no investment now. So why are you here at all ?
When it is on a climb we don't see you. Yet as soon as it falls we expect you back. And you come.
The problem is not your feeling it won't work out, but the fact that you are trolling the board when things are down. The issue is not your opinion but your behaviour here.
Why do you come here ? I can't see how it is out of concern or benevolence. You don't answer that question.
@livestock @wentsland
I have no issue with anyone who posts something that is questioning the processes of the company. I have rallied against rampers, including yesterday when one suggested 5p a share and I said I think they mean 0.5 a share.
Rampers without substance annoy me. De-rampers without substance annoy me. Even Max can prove annoying sometimes when everything is so positive (although I think he is right about the overall outlook).
Chris2 posts nothing of substance, only gives a deeply negative view that pushes people to sell, and appears when the share goes downward. You know when he is going to arrive.
So it's not whether people have differing views. Non invested folk shouldn't be here, except to ask opinions and also be encouraged to do their own research. If they are, then why ?
It is annoying that it hasn't made progress and I am uncertain about yesterday's decision myself. As I think I said, a short term investor would probably panic.
I don't think you understand Chris. Folk get deleted for trolling. You are trolling.
If it's up you go away. If it's down you return.
Take a look at your own behaviour and ask yourself why you troll a share you are not invested in. Then look at the posts you made which showed us your investment history here.
Then leave the board, have a Happy Christmas, don't return, and find yourself something more productive to do with your time.
Nice to have you back Chris.
Something that unifies the board.
@SharequestsI think you mean 0.5p
As a long term holder I'm not worried as I'm looking at two year's time. I think UFO have some great assets right now.
If I was a kiss me quick trader I'd be pooing myself right now.
Just bought a load.
What's this ? January sales come early ?
If the share price drops he will be back.
I don't understand what folk like him take from all this. Their comments won't influence the SP and they won't tell you when they call things wrong.
I'd like to know why the sudden jump today. Not complaining.
My problem with you is your chameleon attitude. The 'considerably richer than thou' attitude is an ugly look, especially when unsubstantiated.
It is unlikely that you are holding more than our houses are worth.
Hello there,
I've seen you posts about Moon. You clearly like him. You even have a similar writing style.
I seem to be confusing you. It's like you are the same person.
I think the expectations of some folk on this board and the day to day running of the company will always be different things.
And what folk need to consider is their motives. People invest to make money. There is no loyalty. Yet sometimes the comments on here read more like a football forum, with a few 'away' fans popping by to stir things up.
UFO will continue to do its thing. At the times that seem right. They may make wrong decisions, they may make golden ones. But things can only be done at the appropriate time. It's an exhaustive process and the demand for 'good news' seems a bit like a petulant child demanding ice cream sometimes.
I'm invested here because a lot of things seem to line up well. The assets, the results. But of we are using a sporting analogy, it will be a long season, and you can't demand that the captain holds a trophy aloft when that season doesn't end for another two years.
So, continuing that theme, Alien have made a positive start, signed some good players, and are well placed to challenge. And the amount of 'points' they have now are irrelevant. It's what they have in 18 months to two years that matters.
And then everyone can bugger off with their cash and support another team.
just bought another £2.5k worth. price looks really low when thinking about future prospects. Hope I'm in the right boat !
Max
'Chris2 is still bitter that he sold all his shares last year the day before a 40% re-rate!!!
On 2nd Sept when UFO's SP was 0.63p he wrote:
"I sold in 2 batches. The first was at 0.65 and the second was at 0.63
I have three buy orders in at 0.59 0.60 and 0.61."
Literally the next day, 3rd Sept the SP went to 0.90p!!! The SP then went to over 3p the next month.
Chris2 buys in just before the peak and on the day the SP was 3p he said it was going to 10p!'
Chris- I think that's what they call being 'owned' these days.
Perhaps we should just keep cutting a pasting this to show everyone that you are not the guru you make yourself out to be and are really quite rotten in your scare tactics.
Mr Positive: I found your ramping a little frustrating as I just take an, in my mind, realistic long term view.
However, it was a little moronic comparing you to Chris2. For that reason, I am sorry.
'I can’t see the company lasting long term. I would think that there will be a sell off along the way or it will just go bust and start as something else'
You make this statement without any evidence against a backdrop of strong early results. It's not far off a libelous accusation to suggest they might just go bust and start as something else.
In fact you never make any analysis. All you do is talk the share down. You even indicated that you would come back in at a certain position.
When the share goes up, you vanish, when it drops you return. If it explodes you will be gone forever.
I suspect the board will have you for the next year. You claim to have made a lot of cash but there is no evidence. One thing is for sure, folk like you don't have a happy life. I couldn't go around boards trying to get folk to part with and lose money. Only a rotten soul would do that.
And always remember, at the end of the game the king and the pawn go back in the same box. So if you do make loads of money it won't make you any happier.
Is Mr Positive Chris2's other personality ?
@MisterPositive
Well, I'm in deep, so I hope that does work out.
Long way to go though. We need to hope the price of iron ore stays profitable too.
I can see why folk are holding back, but the share price does seem rather low at the moment. Very cheap entry level.
Could anyone seriously think that at some stage in the next twelve months the SP won't hit 1.2 again ?
I can't believe how cheap this is at the moment- a bagger. Can't spend anymore so someone else can fill their boots.
As regards the drop, as a LTH it is frustrating but no big deal. I'm interested in Spring 2023 (assuming life allows).
'Rampy & Dampy' :-)
About a summary of the board. It's in Dampy mode at the moment. Rampy forecast if someone pushes the SP over 0.7
If it goes lower there will be Chris2s sweeping in from the west.
Tomorrow will be a mixture of jam tomorrow and no jam ever.
I haven't got any extra to top up. So to those who have.. you lucky, lucky b*******
@tweedledee96
I think Chris takes himself for a fool thinking it will make any difference.
And boasting about your apparent successes doesn't look good. I'm not sure what folk take from that when they do it.
He called this one correctly, but wins no admirers due to his attitude.
