It mostly took an awfully long time to materialise due to logistics and sheer volume of the Postal Votes.Not many States were anywhere near prepared for the scale that unfolded. In Pennsylvania for instance the State law did not allow any Postal Vote counting to commence until the day of the election.

Therefore in my view a very a Decisive win once the counting was over.

I agree, the senate votes in Georgia will be crucial and a lot of positioning is already taking place regarding this vote. The effectiveness of Biden’s Presidency will be directly effected depending which way the vote goes.StevieLet me give you one small example. If there had been any prospect of producing a shred of evidence regarding any systematic/wholesale Fraud or irregularity I don’t think the heads of most western countries would have been so quick in congratulating the winner.

One would imagine that under the circumstances any head of state should (before committing to any statement) consult their respective embassies in the US for their independent assessment based on ongoing real-time electoral developments.

Furthermore, the US own Election Security Apparatus themselves have confirmed that this election has been the most secure in US electoral history. There is ample evidence that no wholesale Fraud was committed if only one chooses to look for it!

Only god knows how many Trump supporters would have been infected through Mass Rallies and unsafe gatherings! There certainly was unsafe gatherings on both sides but sections of Trump supporters took things to another level !

Regarding your other point about the closeness of the race and the Covid effect, I like to add the following comments.
Within the context of the 2016 elections, I don’t see the 2020 election as a closely won race! exciting and nail biting YES but NOT close once the full results were out.
Trump is on record numerous times describing his 2016 win over Hilary as a “Land Slide” “Massive Win” etc etc., He won by 306 Electoral College votes. It was an impressive and unexpectedly decisive win, no question about it.
In 2020 the vote in some Swing States were measured in the thousands but if we use Trumps own yardstick for a “Massive Success” Biden’s margin of victory was even more impressive. E.g. Biden won the crucial 3 golden states Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota by a margin almost 3 times larger than Trump’s wining margin back in 2016 (and that’s not to even mention the 5.5 m margin in Biden’s popular vote despite Trump increasing his 2020 vote by many millions).

So IMO, The Biden victory by any measure was nothing short of Decisive and Impressive.
Now the ball is in Biden’s court, let’s see what his administration is all about.

Just to clarify, I personally look for good beneficial policies regardless of who they originate from elected politicians or bureaucrats!

I agree, we are all conditioned to certain degree by the Media that we are exposed to. Which media’s lines prove to be closer to the truth and reality on the ground will be judged in time in to the future.

In the meantime, WE on both sides of the pond will continue to live in very different environments.

I personally am not against M&A . Sometimes, the only quick and effective way to gain ‘Market Share’ and/oR further Market exposure would be through M&A.

As always, there is a right way and a wrong way of doing things. I agree that so far it sounds like the Unruly deal was a good fit, but still a while to go before any full benefits become unmistakably visible.

Yes, I have a sneaky feeling the BOD will be shopping again but it won’t be for groceries. Another M&A coming to a Cinema near you !?

I have now had time to put forward your suggestion and discuss your request with the “WeeK-end Rule” committee. I hereby declare that the motion was carried and hence 50% of any proceeds from offending posters should be forwarded to YOU (not forgetting MY 20% Kickback of course).

The committee overwhelmingly felt that this should go some way towards mitigating and compensating all your suffering during the recent US elections !!

My I again respectfully remind all posters of the “Week-end Rule” . Only 2 specific mid-week days of Weds 4th and Thu 5th Nov 2020 were set aside as “special exemptions” to discuss none- Tremor issues e.g. Post American election debates and comments.

Under article 32a of the “Week-end Rule” any poster posting any posts unrelated to Tremor plc will be severely punished .
The rules currently allow ONE caution to the offending poster and in case of a repeat of the offence 10 percent of that posters Tremor plc share holdings will be confiscated and distributed amongst other holders.

Also as a further deterrent the offending poster(s) will have to attend an ‘All Day’ on-line training course on “How to Invest profitably in Shares” delivered by STT1.

The use of the word Cult certainly was not meant to offend perhaps a poor choice (I used Cult -like rather than Cult) only to describe the deep level of conviction and following amongst Trump supporters throughout his presidency.
At any case our opinions on this side of the Pond don’t really matter nor count, it’s for the American people only to choose their future path.

As a None-Trump supporter, and strongly against some of his methods and practices, I have to admit that his ability to create and organise a Cult-Like following has been nothing short of impressive. I agree, You are a force to be reckoned with now and IF Biden wins this the new administration MUST try and address some of the demands and needs of this section of the American society.
I hope a healing process will follow soon ,whoever wins this, otherwise if these deep divisions continue they will seriously backfire on American society as a whole with god knows what future repercussions.

This election has all the ingredient s of an Epic movie as it unfolds. A true nail biter!
