Disproportionate increase in institutional holding is a double-edged sord. Whilst it reduces the influence of retail investors it can also introduce some stability for the SP (we all know what happens when institutions decide to sell). Also at least on paper, stronger II shareholding it will bring more answerability from the company.

I don’t deny that manipulation of price does exist at times, however, in the face of solid positive news the SP will eventually rise accordingly.

We simply need a drip-feed of good positive news to solidify and consolidate the recent improved perception of the company in the eyes of the market.

I think we are all on the same page as far as the Covid ‘Balls-Up’ that we all find ourselves in, which is a direct result of current government actions/inactions under Boris’s leadership.

Just goes to prove the point that Youth, Personal Life style, Charisma and Bombastic approach to countries issues and problems won’t necessarily bring success in leadership and government.

So far as policies are concerned, In my book, the Buck stops with the nucleus of the government (e.g. the Cabinet) to devise not only the Right Policies but also ensure there is enough competence in the system and follow-up decision making to see those policies through succesfully.

Staying within the Covid issue New Zealand is a shinning example of how a collective group of decision makers in power can device, and timely execute the right policies regardless of their own individual personal or political characteristics.

Regarding 'Left Verses Right' in politics, my view is that its good and healthy to have both positions against one another so ideally it will avoid extremism on either side and hopefully introduce the “Best of BOTH Worlds “ effect in government.

America isn’t a single party dictatorship! I am not convinced that the Age or the Sleeping patterns of ONE man (the president) necessarily is a major factor in how the country will be run.

It’s the POLICES that any administration ultimately will adopt as it exercises power that really matters, and those policies are normally decides within a large governmental group.

PS- I do enjoy the occasional “Power Nap” from time to time, very refreshing indeed.

I think only ONE person should be totally exempt from the “Week-end Rule”. I even suggest we give him ‘Card Blanche’ to post as many posts on as many subjects as he likes ( for the ‘Entertainment Value’ if nothing else).

On the topic of the “Virus” (Chinees OR Otherwise) I don’t think Trump is doing himself any favours holding multi thousand attendee rallies where neither wearing a mask nor social distancing is observed at all.

I think as long as we mention the word “Stock Market” and/or Tremor at least once in any post we should be just about in the clear !!

Re: your comments on detection of the Jam making aroma at Tremor factory, I too made a discovery whilst visiting the above- mentioned establishment.

I did notice 4 different categories of Jam Jars being labelled and prepared. Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large! I am hoping that after all the wait I would at least get a Medium to Large Jar !!?

Seems also like women are coming out in doves to vote like never before !

As per a post of mine a couples of weeks ago I was wondering at that time if we may break through the Low £2 mark with the SP by end of this week.

Well, great to see that my wishful thinking actually has become reality!
I expect some Profit Taking at the earlier part of next week (a little dip) and then hopefully another run upwards afterwards.

Any thoughts as to what next week may look like? ( answers on a post Card please)

There are two minority but dangerous extremist groups on either side (ultra right and left) that have become more and more polarised, each feeding on their own interpretation of some ugly recent and historical events.

Thanks to Americas ridiculously liberal gun laws both sides are also armed to the teeth having formed paramilitary style groups (the far right in particular).

My concern is that if we are faced with a very close result in the US elections, particularly IF there are accusations of Fraud and NOT accepting the results then this will provide the Perfect Storm for a bloody confrontation.

I just hope and trust that the right minded elements in the security apparatus DO have a plan for such a scenario.

I almost missed, a couple of largish trades 225k shares in total earlier, perhaps an II hoovering again.

The Context around Andy’s comments about Tremor was a question from the presenter asking him “What is a good example of a company that has reinvented itself and has a good growth potential”

He outlined that a major problem with ad-techs companies has been their inability to have enough time/ability to grow strong enough roots to withstand the next technological wave and NOT get swept away by those waves.
Blinx/Tap/R1 combined (mostly thanks to R1 platform) have been able to consolidate in to an entity that is strong enough to have grown the strong and deep roots necessary to withstand upcoming changes and grow significantly.

He mentioned, Tremor have Good Management, Good levels of Cash with a very good recent Trading Update.
He drew some parallels with Trade Desk ( PE of 169 against Tremors 13) implying that Tremor offer very good investment potential in comparison and could well have a PE of 5 x 13 next year.

He also thought that the management will be look to sell Tremor at some stage.
