AEP seems to believe oil majors still have a future.

Bit surprised that the sp has faded back towards 52p is it just day traders?
The news flow very encouraging, the business quite niche and I was tempted not long ago but over invested elsewhere so will continue to lurk and consider my options. If it is of any consolation I am in OXB and that has not taken off as I had hoped.

Yep me too, for pensions x 2 and an ISA. Modest amounts 1500 or 2000 shares a block.
Hopeful that SRB gets more market attention like OMI but that said we are not sat on a tier one find!

I am also invested in SOLG and SRB but as always DYOR Jota.

Thanks Brox a useful read. My conclusion (for now) is that this mine will take even longer to develop than we all expected. I believe it will happen but not until lengthy appeals, committee meetings, court hearings etc have taken place. It is hard to see how the mine will break ground in 2021 hence I am not keen to risk another punt. Yellowcake a safer Uranium bet for 2021 imo but once the permits are granted I could see BKY quickly climbing to 60p and beyond.

OMI is fast turning into one of those legend punts which shysters will talk about in years to come when trying to get suckers to invest in AIM shares. I am one of those of "suckers" and have been burned a few times with AIM (HUR and POS) but when a small share comes good like OMI with tier one assets and majors looking on enviously then be brave and buy.....I have and its has paid off handsomely. As always DYOR especially with AIM shares.

If you already invested here then chill and enjoy the ride. If you are still thinking about it then stop dithering and at least get a modest stake before this runs away from you. While nothing is certain in life other than death and taxes other than extreme Black Swan events SOLG is motoring nicely towards 50p and beyond.

Now own 10,000 shares as I am cautiously optimistic that gas prices will see the sp clear 30p before Christmas.

Morning, stop lossed a couple of times and took the hit but still a small investment here and willing to buy back in bigly on firm news re production rates and reserves. I also think there is a good chance of some form of joint venture between HUR and another north sea player.

I managed to buy 10,000 on HL at 37.8p by putting in a fill order. Could not get a live quote though. Why did I buy after top slicing on Friday? Because the of the RNS and I reckon this as much a momentum play as a long term bet so may repeat here and there if I think the price looks a bit frothy.

I am in the fortunate position of owning a large stake here and a modest one in OMI.
Which miner will see the best % rise today? I suspect OMI but my money is invested in SOLG for the longer term. Good luck to all holders has anyone got a view on when to take some profit on SOLG? I had originally thought 50p but that seems too low given the RNS.

Yep! Suspect you are right and for many 50p not a bad entry point if the assay results back up the initial forecasts.

I predicted.....well I hoped.....for a dip on Friday morning but the sp rose 10% and I top sliced a bit!

I am up for a sp drop tomorrow in order to buy some more.....but not going to happen imo!

Fantastic run up in one week and might have added a few more this morning had the sp dropped but in view of it reaching 40p top sliced just now and sold 5,000 of my 20,000 original stake. Each to their own trading methods but this has been an epic week and its nice to finish with some of the profit in cash. Good luck to all here and hope you all walk away with a profit.

It is a punt to buy now and yes agree the sp could return to 55p quite quickly but I would prefer to see some concrete political news that this amendment has been dumped before investing. Hence I am a hold if you are already invested and a wait and see if you have cash.

Funny, although I have been invested here for some time I have always viewed CGP as nothing more than an irritation while the main event remains how much gold and copper is under the SOLG acreage and who will finally dig it out? I might be a bit lazy and complacent about CGP but in the big order of things I think its a sideshow. Expecting news of a serious bid before year end and happy to hold.

Well I was hoping for some profit takers today dropping the sp so I could sneak a few more into my HL pension but apparently not? Come on, its Friday sell your shares and take profits then I can get some moar at sub 30p!!!! Oh crap in the time I have been typing its up 7.88%.
