In the original Phase 3 trials a small number of candidates responded very positively to the drug but overall there was not a statistically meaningful impact on the whole cohort so it failed to launch. While the small number of hits might have been a placebo effect my hunch is that a better focused trial with selected patients will clear the P3 hurdle and go into production.

There are then the other possible product lines coming through which might also attract partnership money. On balance I would be disappointed if this RNS does not produce a double digit % rise in share price.

I thought the RNS very positive and so placed a buy order before commenting. I think the RNS is a real "Boom" bit of news because it is wide ranging and deals with the many concerns posted here over past months. I am both reassured and excited at the prospects for IMM in 2022 and beyond.

Thanks for the post, I did feel the sp had rather stalled within a band of recent weeks but not a technical analyst. Hopefully good news will push the sp back up into the late 30s by early next year.

If the EU demand their loans be repaid then Spain is economically done for.

Resolutions passed etc. Cannot see much of a future for BKY unless legal and political pressure applied to Spanish Gov to grant permits for the mine and the chances of that seem very very remote.

Given that Ben Bilderbeek is still a significant shareholder as are other managers that seems unlikely. Not sure why Lion Trust off loaded the shares, seems foolish at this price when there is no bad news out there.

Funnily enough I thought the same but hedged by buying Crystal Amber shares a couple of weeks back. I am cautiously optimistic about HUR for 2022 and could see oil prices over $100 a barrel at some point this winter.

It would help if I better understood what a bubble point means? I have read a little around the subject and nothing so far indicates the well stops producing oil at that point but rather gas and oil and in our case water would be coming up the pipe. Any engineers or geologists out there with a view and some references?

Meh! Some good points but some doubts remain about reserves and when HUR becomes debt free. Given HUR are still extracting 10,000 bopd and trying to negotiate an extension to the contract to uplift the oil it does not sound like the well is about to dry up anytime soon. I suspect the sp will drop a bit at market open and recover later in the day.
HUR is looking like a cash cow for 2022, one well, two electric pumps, no enthusiasm to invest in more drilling yet a great oil price and positive cash flow. I am finding it hard to value.

Buying back £20 million in your own shares should help the sp a little but the main event remains the money from India which hopefully is imminent but then it is India so who knows?

They own 24.63% so the MBO largely dependent on them and any large institutional holders. To me this feels like a 50:50 coin toss right now, it might happen and it might not but very little news to hint as to which way the negotiations might go,

Does the fact that the uranium ore in Mauritania is literally just below the surface make future operating costs attractive? The world has plenty of Uranium but much of it is under the former soviet union so politically risky, rather like buying gas from Putin!

Thanks for the reply, just feeling a bit flat this morning but serves me right for following tiddlers! That said I have been here (in and out) a fair amount of time, watched it crash, the recovery and something about this uranium play keeps me coming back. As much a personal hunch as based on hard facts but what they have in Africa really quite exciting imo plus the off take agreement reassuring etc.

I am going to dabble via HL as the sp to NAV seems tempting and the management team strengthened by the return of Mark Chin. I also put it into my FT portfolio and noted the forecasts are all up from around this sp, the lowest suggesting 187p by next year.

Down 10%? What am I missing here?

Sorry, my bad forgot about that. I just hope special is really does knock our socks off.

I have two concerns mickey. The first is that PAT is purely exploration right now and gold production years away. The second, in the 2020 Investor Presentation slide 12 admits that the PAT sp is yet to respond to the gold price.

That does not mean never but right now our SP is on its ass. My personal hope is that the assay results attract a bid from another player and that the legal issues in India are resolved. The latter might take years so PAT is a purely speculative play on the amount of gold under the ground and how easily it might be recovered in years to come.
