bludiv, you did not attempt to answer my question. Why buy a chain of betting shops when you are an online gaming company? Worse still, a UK chain of betting shops subject to all kinds of government daftness.

I would expect a double digit sp rise on those results but with this market who knows? YGEN is performing well but does not seem to attract much attention from investors, perhaps this time the market will take note of some great numbers!

Things looking good for HUR in 2022.

Because the idiot BoD thought it was a great idea to buy Betting Shops in the UK from WMH?
I am perplexed and well in the red as a result of the last 6 months lunacy. 888 is an online gaming firm, no more and no less, yet we have acquired betting shops, staff, taxes and hassle for what?

Wait and see for now but consider a crowd funded legal case against the key suspects for civil damages as result of culpable negligence towards shareholders? Civil actions easier to win than a criminal case?

If I were BHP I would be looking to buy SOLG......top tier copper resources are scarce and some countries easier to do business with than others.

I invested here recently because I thought this was a quick & easy double digit punt but the negotiations are murky/opaque and there is a risk of no deal being agreed. I am cautiously optimistic.

Col....might you consider predicting 50p by February? You never know it might work and I could do with a few quid for the Christmas bills etc? Clearly the others just do not have the powers to make sp hopes come true. If things do not improve our family are going to end up eating Tiny Tim on the 25th and YGEN will be to blame!.

I recognise this phase well enough to know that it could last for years not months and that a further drop in sp cannot be ruled out prior to some news. The news might well be that a buyer gets the whole company for pennies and the many small investors here get scalped. Some lucky or brave punters might do very well buying IMM at current prices or they could be looking at a 20% loss by Christmas.
It is worth remembering that for many, many years OXB bumped along as a penny share with people like me on what was then a free Motley Fool complaining bitterly about the lack of progress.

Show me the assay results! Grades get me excited, preliminary feasibility studies and news of big players investing in a JV are needed to see a decent return on a punt with PAT. I suspect that any substantial news is months rather than weeks away. Mine production several years away yet.

It amuses me that on a morning when we publish a good RNS demonstrating that HUR is paying off debt and generating cash the sp dips in early trading. 9,000 bopd and debt free by Q2 2022 and yet no sp re rate? Is the market still worried about tech issues like the bubble point or water cut when production figures have been reassuringly steady for quite some time without any additional engineering expenditure?

Glad you posted this because that is what bugged me when looking at the days movements and while I have been a longtime CNE supporter I fear this will struggle to get above 200p because of its foray into Egypt and jam tomorrow from Indian payout.

Wishful thinking imo. The icing on the PMG cake has been scraped off in the last week or so. Specifically, the expectation of more North Sea Oil removed by recent political events and statements that hammered the industry and the PMG sp. The company remains profitable as a gas producer but what else does it have? A few acres of land and some wind turbines maybe?

Certainly not a surge in the sp here which leads me to think YGEN is too small a player to get market attention.

You are not alone Daltry, it has been a miserable 18 months and many of us are holding on out of something like bloody minded determination to block what amounted to theft of a company from small investors. As long as the oil keeps coming ashore with prices above $50 a barrel the future is bright imo.

Well we will all find out very shortly where PMG is headed this morning! My hunch is to hold and wait.

I also hold PMG where Tom Cross owns about 26% of the company and their share price last week took a real hit.
At HUR what counts is the % owned by Crystal Amber and what they decide to do with them. If they hold their stake then we can all breath a sigh of relief if they bail it the sp might tank. I also have a modest stake in Crystal Amber as a means to hedge the risk.

I am not adding until I see an upwards trend-line.
If/when the drug gets to P3 then I can buy at 10,15,20p and make a profit.
If it gets FDA approval then its a multi bagger from 20p and upwards.

Intellectual collaboration with Imperial College encouraging but financially it brings zip to the bottom line. Holding but concerned about the direction of the sp after the past few months and feel nothing short of a significant JV and cash is going to help.
