888 is a profitable online gaming company and yet on a day when a new covid mutation frightened the market into thinking there would be more lock-downs and less travel the sp actually dropped!!!!!
It proves I fear that when the markets are spooked traders will sell everything including sound companies to cover their bad bets on risky crap hence 888 -3% at the close. Exasperating!

Yet the sp here actually dropped 5% today and gold prices just inched above $1800.....

Well frankly I am grateful! Not a great week to buy back in but I thought the results good, the news about platypus confirmed rumours which had been raised here some weeks ago and yes it should have been the subject of a separate RNS.

Sods law the results are published the same day that a Covid panic is triggered from a virus mutation in Africa that has done very little damage thus far. Strangely there are not dead bodies piled up on street corners in S Africa anymore than there are in Sweden! The world has to learn to live with Covid19.

Andyken I waited all day and yet here we are and according to lse our sp has gone nowhere today? Not so much surprised as disillusioned with YGEN because today should have seen a double digit sp rise and it just did not happen.

Then I would wait a little longer and place a low ball bid for SOLG which might be just enough for investors (large and small) to sell into and yes I might even be one such small investor. Somebody could pick up SOLG for pennies.

This mini correction is handy! Hoping to buy back in later today; 305p would be fine and sub 300p fantastic!. Hopefully a follow on panic in the USA will oblige.

At 40.6p with HL.....always nice to have cash for a rainy day situation. SP drop silly given it is likely to be a cold winter in Europe and PMG results state their gas production largely unaffected by Covid19.

Yep, on balance very glad I bought back in yesterday. The oil potential here worth holding for, the gas fields a cash generator and the renewable stuff....well useful ESG window dressing but I am fundamentally an oil and gas punter.

Grades JL the grades from the assay results are v good.

Troytempest like others here we have to wait and hope a deal is forthcoming at a decent price. I am not going to bail early, at worse a failure to agree a price does not mean SENS is a dog merely that an MBO was perhaps opportunistic and the institutional shareholders not going to be pushed into a loss.

I think it is safe to say that CA have included HUR in their NAV calculations because it has value. If CA thought HUR of no value or low value they would be obliged to say so by accountancy rules. The word used by CA in an earlier statement about HUR was "transformational". My personal view is that an upward re rate of HUR sp long overdue.

Yep, read it and bought in. Sure China has not signed a deal yet and they had a habit of stealing IP but international law not something the CCP necessarily want to be hassled by. I also felt that the market in the rest of Asia might be huge so worth a punt at these prices.
