According to the FT tearsheet PMG has as of 2017 no sig debt, �25mn in cash, book value 69p and tangible value 34p. Very little debt as far as I know, with income from gas and very considerable oil reserves the sp today looks very attractive to me.

Still cheap imo and the dividend attractive.

Business news suggests a commodity driven uptick from last week. So lessons learned? When the market slides they sell the sector so regardless of what I think CNEs value is based on fundementals it counts for zip. Aggregate price paid around 205p but broker values suggest it should reach 240p ish this year.

Very sensible, hope it goes as planned.

Take a look at the broker ratings and Fundementals above. My only reservation is that having checked the FT data Tate was a 31% capital to debt ratio. I prefer less debt in my potential buys. Do you understand what the company does? Read up about it and do some research on the sugar, starch and sweeteners market.

Agreed the past has been a disaster for shareholders who did not stop loss but the potential for sp growth looks much improved if buying at these levels.

Bar a black swan event I expect the spring and summer results to push the sp towards 45p. Do your own research.

I have just purchased 5000 more because I believe the sp is undervalued and the potential future earnings from North Sea Reserves considerable. Do your own research and good luck. I also topped up on CNE because the company is oversold imo. Will 2018 be a good year for commodities? Well how many of you are planning holiday or business flights this year? With global growth on the up they will need oil.

Turbulence overnight Dow down 4% and Asia selling but here in the UK AZN down a fraction. I remain of the view, for the time being, that this is a market correction not a panic.

Well I have held shares in Great Panther for a few months and after a nice climb they are down a few % despite strong results. I am no longer convinced gold and silver offer a hedge against stock market declines.

If it drops below 600p I would risk buying a few for the dividend and a potential to recover its sp a little.
