The Times page 40 today "Analysts at Peel Hunt said yesterday's deal cemented their view that Oxford Biomedica's technology was "at the forefront of the gene and cell therapy revolution". Good enough for me to want to buy and hold.

Made 3 modest top ups this morning into family ISA or SIPs. Like any investment it is still a gamble but two things excite me about OXB. Yesterdays news confirms the virus platform is a good one and we are not far away from hearing how the Novartis partnered drug is progressing. Good news from Novartis would see a rise and/or possibly a bid. Bad news from Novartis would hurt but not catastrophically imo.

Over the past couple of days purchased several bundles of shares for SIP or ISA for the family, 150, 220 and one of 500. I feel if you are going to post you should either have some skin in the game or have been an investor. Now a case of wait and see,

Great but can explain why? Do you see the pipeline issues getting sorted, when? Better production? I would appreciate some data on why you see it as having a 2-300% potential. A great deal depends on supply issues from OPEC and the USA plus demand questions. All impact on oil prices. I would be very happy to see 25p by October.

Great to see some positive news and a substantial sp rise which vindicates buying back in months ago. Will wait to see if there is a bit of a dip tomorrow and buy some more because the science and news flow suggest to me that the company value will continue to go up over this year.

I like the business but in small companies with poor liquidity you need positive news or someone like Investors Chronicle to recommend it as a buy. SP movements tend to be rather drastic.

Having followed and invested here I see a bit of a sell off every time we get to 40p. Other factors in play as well but I wonder where the next buy/sell psychological barrier is at? I suspect going up at around 60p and on the way down around 33p. Purely a personal hypothesis.

Essentially they think the bearish sentiments on oil overdone. Re Amerisur I like the potential but am frustrated by the lack of progress in gettin the oil to market. More production, a reliable pipeline and less local trouble please.

Just purchased 500 share after doing a little more research. I looked at the charts and felt it was oversold, Bollinger Bands etc. I like the 4.8% dividend and believe at these prices Tate might attract a bid from a global food player like Nestle or Kraft. Finally, as one broker said "Tate is reassuringly dull".
