Good post justsayin, holding for similar reasons. Now on the subject of Stobart, Flybe and easyJet there are some interesting possible synergies. Possible nothing else but easyJet flies a number of domestic routes which are really too short for a medium sized jet. Liverpool, Isle of Man and Belfast or Glagow to Belfast and a few others which might be more efficiently operated by a 70 seat turboprop. Is it possible that this deal might see some franchising of short ezy routes to Stobart/Flybe?

Hi, I had not considered it would be that much but my research on the FT data suggests 250p possible in the near term based on the cash and value of reserves held. Hence I was willing to buy in at 211p and topped up sub 190p.

Sorry for the late response, in my case �1300 in cash, some shares in GVC and a number of options based on future performance. I am inclined to do nothing and accept the offer as the cash back is a form or profit taking and I am optimistic about the future of the combined group.

Manchester, imo a crap airport run by overpaid idiots but...it has two runways, will be on HS2, has many international flights, including 3 A380s a day for Emirates and a significant Flybe presence. Now what would someone pay to turn a nice morning slot currently used by a Flybe domestic flight with 70 passengers on it into something international with 300 plus pax? Warwick Brady of Stobart (ex easyJet) knows exactly what those slots are worth.

Hard to say re brand name. Not invested, I can see the company going into administration but would bet on the brand name surviving. Until an end is reached too uncertain to throw good money into a sinking ship. Of course someone might beach the ship, patch it up or scrap it and and salvage what they can.

While there is some uncertainty and therefore risk over the drugs in the pipeline I think the sp is down on what AZN is worth and this is supported by the broker views above. I am content to await an incoming tide of good news. I should add that I am relatively recent investor first buying a few when they dropped to �40 ish a year or so back, bought some more at �47. I hold AZN as well as more risky stocks like OXB and COS because I do not lose sleep over this one. The ups of owning a biotech all well and good but the long periods of down or stagnation in small cap stocks less fun!
