PS to my last placed a buy order at 34.5p expires today as stock market prices on HL wobbly for some reason. As I type prices -8%

Any idea why? I see no news to reflect a sudden drop but neither am I tempted to buy until some facts emerge.

Broadly agree the progress here has been disappointing at that is down to the managers and conditions in Colombia. My point in listing the site below and the attention AMER is receiving is because of the changing the nature of comments. It is getting too personal imo.

I am always willing to read the views of others providing they give some facts or context, as you have, to their views.

I do wonder whether any bid offers are awaiting the result of the tribunal to pounce? If it looked like it was going badly for the Indian Government some might be tempted to buy CNE.

Might Vedanta bid for CNE?

Might VED be interested in buying out CNE if the tax case against the Indian Government were going their way?

Here is another reason why I believe Colombian Oil will be in demand from the USA very soon. If the oil is there, AMER will look very cheap at sub 20p a share, we need drilling results to confirm that.

While oil production in the Bakken has reversed since it bottomed in 2016 and increased over the past few years, so has the amount of by-product wastewater. Now, it's not an issue if water production increases along with oil. However, it's a serious RED FLAG if by-product wastewater rises a great deal more than oil.

And... unfortunately, that is exactly what has taken place in the Bakken over the past two years. In the oil industry, they call it, the rising "Water Cut." Furthermore, the rapid increase in the amount of water to oil from a well or field suggests that peak production is at hand. So, now the shale companies will have an uphill battle to try to increase or hold production flat as the water cut rises.

According to the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources, the Bakken produced 201 million barrels of oil in the first six months of 2018. However, it also produced a stunning 268 million barrels of wastewater:"

Bought a few more this morning and fingers crossed for next week. Worse case the court case drags on and no pay out sp drops maybe 15% but what if the Indians agree to cough up a substantial wedge of cash in final settlement?

According the tearsheet for CNE the tangible book value per share is 236p and book value per share 337p. Reason enough to buy and hold imo.

Purchased a 1,000 at 227p ish. A punt on the Indian Tax Case but that aside the assets look attractive at sub 230p.

Hi Baht, pleased to see progress here with BKY but Cameco and UUUU down 3 and 6% respectively today. Having said that Uranium Mining has enjoyed a bit of a run up outside of the UK.

Probably! I am not entirely convinced London based shareholders are getting treated fairly. Someone is paying serious money in Spain for a slice of BKY while our shares sit at 42p?

Should CNE bump towards 225p will buy more. It has Cash, Senegal Reserves and a realistic chance of compensation this year from India.
