Pondering whether to buy more Playtech, or re enter the betting sector with WMH or 888.

Of the 3 companies 888 stands out for carrying no significant debts. Sure they all make profits, albeit reduced, they all have exposure to foreign markets including the USA but 888 has the least debt and pays a dividend of 4%....

I am not for selling as I believe the company has some value in it. Neither am I rash enough to throw good money without news after bad hence I am holding.

I expect the MAP will reveal in 2019 that some patients are doing very well on Lupizor and that will be sufficient to attract more investors and another go at Phase Three Trials. It is all a punt until we get some scientific facts back from the MAP.

I recently posted a link from The Telegraph which suggested a legal challenge was underway to block the deal at 1p a share. It is possible that Mr Tinkler and others have enough shares and money to legally challenge the Board over its approval of the deal hence the bounce.

Not invested but delighted for those who are and hope Warwick Brady gets his ass kicked by the markets....

Stop lossed last year and prefer not to comment if not invested but remained a watcher on this board and I am now inclined to step back on board.

I bought at around 600p a year or so back so am nursing a big paper loss but having re examined the fundamentals above I am minded to average down.

400p seems a crazy price for an expanding company making profits, pays a 7% dividend and has little debt.

I must be missing something here but what?

"Turning to London mid-caps, William Hill said it expects its adjusted operating profit for the year to January 1 to be GBP234 million, down 15% on the year prior. The result is in line with the betting company's operating profit guidance of GBP225 million to GBP245 million.

More positively for William Hill, underlying operating profit increased 4% year-on-year, with the Online division delivering good growth. The company has also highlighted an "excellent" growth in the US and said it plans to invest in rapid expansion in the country.

Separately, William Hill said it now holds 92% stake in online gambling company Mr Green & Co, and expects to secure the acceptances of its takeover offer for the remaining 8% interest by the end of January."

Just looked, nothing new. Last RNS relate to director share purchases.

I have done that in 2018 but realistically Sean Wade cannot say much by phone and there is a danger of reading things into a conversation which are not there. I have no choice but to remain patient. If we get some firm news on permits and production then I will buy some more shares otherwise I hold.

Has anyone spoken to Sean Wade recently?

Agree, I want to see news via a RNS rather than BB views. For what its worth if the sp deflated or was shorted into the mid teens I would buy more.

I was at work yesterday, Flybe crew on the bus, passengers boarding their aircraft and business as usual.

Now explain to me how an airline with a £700 million turnover, making a modest loss but with assets can in the space of months only be worth £2 million? No crashes, no cessation of operators licence, no black swan events, no stock market crash, no major loss of customers.....

You are unlikely to nail the real culprits but I wish you good luck. I knew Tim Anderson from my RAF days and while a good pilot and leader he has no experience of running a commercial entity. Did Anderson get suckered into taking the top job even as the ship was being hijacked? It reminded me a bit of the BHS scandal where Philip Green did the damage while getting rich then selling the company for £1 to a fallguy.

While I admire AZN and would re invest I am inclined to agree with driftking that the sp could as easily fall further, just maybe not as low as 3800p.

What price do board members think marks a re entry point or for holders where they would top up? £50 ish?
