Amazon take over of Whole Foods - Wonder if they will be needing another big box or two anytime soon. Onwards and upwards.
Morning Hottie, next time you are up north try the Horse & Jockey, Stockton on Tees, pint of Carling is £2.85 and the pump pipes are cleaned every fortnight. Perfection. Market's are in for a settled period I think, at leased while Trump is zipping around buttering up to a few folk, Erdogen accepted (oops I mean excluded).
richred_uk, if as you say these would be you first BBOX shares which leads me to believe that you don't own any of their shares. I may be right in saying that you can't take part in the placing as you are not currently on the share register, you would need to purchase in the main market in the normal way. The SP may drop close to the placing price at the deal time, but I doubt it.
Hopefully we get a boost in the SP although I only have a few thousand of these for a divi at 7.4%. Still kicking myself for not doubling my holding on the dip to mid 50p's which was my original plan Grrr. Lowest annual divi for 11 years small price to pay for getting a more robust balance sheet i suppose. Onwards and upwards back to the low 130's or 140's I hope.

Hope you are right as 170p gives me a profit of 25% which is 5.2 times the annual income, cashing in territory me thinks.
My £4K investment is now worth £500, but looking for an alternative multi-bagger I think is more risk than staying put, short term anyway. I have enough crystallised losses with XEL and CAZA. AIM is not an investment market I've learn't that to my cost. PMG is now just bottom drawer for a year or two as don't have the time for active stock hopping.
Seems Akers has a new shell to play with. Anyone put some strategy meat on the bones of this one an how it may affect CHA. http://investing.thisismoney.co.uk/news/article/id/5503505/ investing.thisismoney.co.uk/news/article/id/5503505/ (plus the usual http://)
MY HSBC divi yield is 8.7% so won't be going any where soon as won't many others. Unfortunately I my plan was to sell at anything over £7, but I'm not a trader type so I didn't move. If it happens to hit 450p tho I will be adding.
Looks like Logicor are going down the floatation route, can anyone give a heads up on how this could affects us, if at all. Competition on the share front or a higher profile for the sector.
That was the 'UT' uncrossing trade between MM's so not really a trade at all. Should still be a steady riser tho. This is a REIT so I will buy on the cash calls.
The government's latest wakeup to the need for a catch-up with infrastructure spending should benefit our business model. Also, with the ever expanding trend for online shopping, we will be there to help.
This is always going to be a steady stock by it's REIT nature. I will just top up with the calls for capital as and when they need to expand, unless there is a particular dip in the offing. Should be a strong and steady dividend stream. Onwards & upwards......
Hott, shame I rode this one all the way up to 580p with 13 times annual divi's to to top slice. Must have had my straight jacket on. lol. OT. What's occurin' down at NG towers (cough, cough) supposed to be a steady staple share isn't it? Sorry about OT can't find Goldenshares locality atm.
Seems someone fancied dipping their toe in most of the day. Possible II in ahead of the US election result. Any thoughts?
Look suspiciously like the buy price at the time to me (untrained eye). II's on board maybe.
Someone's having a few tasty nibbles at the moment, maybe going to be a better Q4 than I thought. Onwards and upwards. Not every country can afford shiny new nuclear power stations.
Not happy about this SP at all....... Bought in at 80p and my strategy was to double my holding if it went sub 60p, guess what - I didn't. Grrrr!! If they increased the divi back to 10p my yield would have been 15%+. Grrrrrrr!! This is a very well run business.
HL says it's currently 1.69% - 2.50p / share. 5,0p total pa. Also covered 7 times earnings, wonder if we can get some of that spare dosh. I think we are doing better than Witherspoons atm, but could do with a hot summer, always good for business.
Definitely on my keep list. A chartists view would be useful....
