"Pull back Monday"
So grateful for the razor sharp & in-depth analysis of our co. future direction.
Israel are very strong militarily so hopefully can shoot them all down stick them a finger and say... is that the best you have i.e. restraint. Iran is a big land mass 1000 miles away, but not big on political intellect from its rulers, too much religious ideology fogging their brains. The only black swan is chemical, hopefully they're not stupid as well.
Lets see...
Yip, looks like HL have turned up for work today.
So was that you with the quarter of a million trade at 10:13 this morning?
Unfortunately HL would charge £11.95 to sell said 7 shares so only really useful if dealing with higher numbers.
Best
BB programs are all well and good, but any chance they could beef up the lower priced divi quarter's. I know we can always cash in some shares, but that costs us shareholders money.
The article in Oilprice today reads very concerning, there was a similar one about 10 days ago, but disappeared very quickly. Seems to me that Russian (Iranian) & Chinese influences are gaining pace. Hopefully GKP can stay on board through SOMO etc. rather than being assimilated.
Headlines
"The New Oil Law being worked on by the government of Iraq in Baghdad may drastically reduce the independence in energy matters for Iraqi Kurdistan."
"The FSC ruled that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) must turn over 'all oil and non-oil revenues' to Baghdad."
"The New Oil Law may have drastic consequences for Western IOCs working in the area."
I thought there would be a multitude of comments on the Placing especially re. SP movement etc. Placing price doesn't seem so good now...
Personally I'm long so not too bothered 're. SP, just give me the divi's. SP can come later.
Clued, Apologies didn't intend to be abrasive, I merely took your quote of 1140p to be promoting the negative in isolation. No condescension was intended especially in a text where mood can be difficult to pick up.
Anyway, I presume the company aren't doing anything different or wrong after previous accolades for their business strategy, so this SP drop in my mind must be solely political with the wise boys sensing easy pickings as the Co. is still relatively young . I just hope the BOD know exactly what's going on an how to deflect it.

Denby69, I see your point, but I was just trying to give a heads-up regarding some of the posters on LSE who can be less helpful for their own purposes. Apologies if you thought it too much of a broad brush comment.
To be clear - BB as in all of LSE (London South East Website), not specific to a share.
Chrisbish, don't ask for or act on any opinions from this BB, most here have their own agenda and it's not to help you. Quite a lot are simply malicious and manipulative.
Clued, did you bother to read the full RNS, only 1600 were bought at 1140p at 4.12pm. there is a long list of all the transactions with date and time stamp, lots are at a cheap price. Obviously picked off someone wanting a higher price, not rocket science.
Don't forget Tesco Bank will be sold, probably be getting a capital return at some point.
Ash if I'm understanding you correctly, sounds like you have an isa with the ii platform and a second one run by a broker, so two isa's? Are your LGEN shares already in one of the isa's?
Hope so my waterline is £21 (105p), but I'm in long for pension income so SP doesn't matter to much to me, also can usually add a few at these levels to improve my yield currently around 14%.
Just passing the time of day. HNY all.
Current SP 635.5p gives a yield of 6.54% based on 0.53c divi
'cumbrian' as you're with iWeb I would really double check that they will process the divi payments with only the 15% deducted (ISA) as some of the platforms that are offshoots from banks do not. Some deduct 30% even with a W8-BEN in place as they don't have the software or authority with the US securities Board to do it, apparently, or something along those lines.
PLEASE CHECK
Don't worry guys the divi amount announced before ex divi day is x20 for the consolidated shares. You will be paid exactly the same, bar any fractional shares that will be rounded down which you should already know about. Just have a rebalancing purchase if the cost is acceptable to you.
