The actual closing price on ASX was 30.5, that's equal to 15.63p at the current exchange rate. I wouldn't be surprised if it walks up to that later.

Mining firms’ contribution in royalties and others to Ghana’s economy outstanding

The Ghana Chamber of Mines, the body representing mining firms, has for some time been advocating that 30% of the royalties paid to the government be set aside for development in mining communities. It argues that, irrespective of the firms’ immense contribution to the development of these communities, the royalties meant for their development have been meagre, hence the poor state of development in these areas.

1) The Royalty LI will go into law in 21 days unless annulled. The majority party that put it forward holds 2/3 of the votes. The minority would need 2/3 of the vote to annul the LI but have zero chance of 50% of the majority party voting against their own LI, in fact they'd be lucky if just 1 did.

2) The Ewoyaa Agreement Ratification is running in parallel with the Royalty LI, the LI was created in order to facilitate Ratification of the Ewoyaa Agreement, so I expect the Ewoyaa Agreement to be discussed and voted on at the same time they discuss the Royalty LI, which by virtue of the 21 day default into Law, must happen within the 21 days

3) Ignore the in-ground Lithium content, the mine will process the rock and produce 6% purity or higher Spodumene, which gets the top rates from buyers.

All good news at long last!

On the pipeline comment "So now we know that the pipeline is on / slightly ahead of schedule."

This is from RNS 27 August 2025:

"groundwork and pipelaying will commence in January 2026 with completion by July 2026."

So they weren't ahead of schedule, they just about got the groundwork started at the very end of January, so barely, by a smidgen, on schedule.

As for the Rig, clearly by the timing of ARA's update today, they were not going to sign a rig contract before they saw the pipeline construction begin, hence can now move forward with their rig selection from the shortlist.

A little few more for me before the fireworks really start.

That's precisely what the new sliding scale Royalty LI is going to do, by giving Ghana a better royalty when prices for the resources go up, as gold has. It's not going to stop Ewoyaa, it has been created to enable Ewoyaa to be Ratified, as the previous LI was not compatible with the old Ewoyaa Agreement and, because stakeholders wanted a higher return when prices went up, which they will be getting because Atlantic Lithium have changed the Ewoyaa Agreement to include the new sliding scale Royalty LI.

As stated in today's published report and RNS:

"Focus in 2026 on commencing commercial trials with MSC and progressing core projects in the USA, Panama and Morocco."

This means all four projects are CORE projects and all four projects are STILL ON.

Anyone selling at this point in time clearly isn't looking at the expected news, they are either short term traders or chartists, those that don't look at fundamentals, they only look at the percentage gain they've made and that's as far as they look. But they can only sell out once, buyers can keep buying, so we'll eventually get to a place where sellers dry up and the price goes up and up. No point trying to force it on here, just be patient a little bit longer and we'll be rewarded.

Ghana Parliament sits today, their Agenda, Business Statements, Order Papers and Live YouTube feeds will all start giving us information on progress with the Royalty LI and Ewoyaa Agreement. Keep your eyes peeled.
