WoogieBoogie,
Forget NPV, that's irrelevant, what is relevant is the annual Mine revenues to Atlantic Lithium and how attractive the Mine is to USA/China/EU Governments and Companies. 3rd biggest Lithium Mine in Africa, 10th biggest in the World (says MIIF).
With Ratification, which is expected imminently, Atlantic Lithium has a ready-to-build Mine in a stable country, the #1 country in Africa for Mining investment, with new Mining friendly Laws and Policies. It's a VERY attractive Mine to any Lithium or Battery company, it also fits in with USA/China/EU Critical Minerals targets so could get State investment or a company from any of those could get State backing to buy it out.
A takeover would be minimum 50p because 33p (£222m at the time) was already rejected in 2023 as undervaluing the company, with not even any discussion on that price. Now they have a bigger resource, all permits and will soon have Ratification. meaning if 33p wasn't enough in 2023, then 50p (£374.37m) might be the starting point for a discussion. And once one offer comes in, the project is so attractive to so many other entities that other bids should be expected, and they can slug it out until the highest bid wins, I win, all shareholders win big time.
Worst case scenario it'll get to 50p on it's own steam as it gets closer to Mine production in early 2027. Like all investors I'd take the 50p today if it was offered, but I am happy to wait for it, as I'm sitting on a couple of million shares, so it's a big payday whenever it gets here.
