About the Fastmarkets CIF China Spodumene assessment

By trading Spodumene futures, you'll gain exposure to the lithium market and benefit from the transparency and liquidity of our futures market. The final settlement will be based on the monthly average of all daily price assessments for Spodumene min 6% Li2O, spot price, CIF China, $/ton, as published by Fastmarkets (FM) during the contract month.

I'm using this source too, China. Currently there's quotes for March at $2360.ong term quotes at $2400. Either way, it's flying up and $2500 isn't far away.

Currently the bands in the Royalty LI are fixed. It's possible they might get amended but right now $2200 still has the same Royalty as $1501. It needs to go above $2501 to go to the next level.

Ghana Finance Minister just announced in Parliament that Ghana WILL buy THREE TONNES of Gold PER WEEK untill the end of 2028 to bolster it's Reserves.

He said this will cost them $25.28bn annually.

The Statement was followed by questions on where they will get the money from. Ewoyaa will certainly make a good contribution towards it in Royalty and Tax etc.

I was just checking the forecast as I saw a report on another African Country saying they are expecting the worst rains in 30 years. Tanzania expecting a lot of rain March to May, especially in April. My guess is any "rain, down tools" is factored into the July pipeline completion, as they know when the 'Long Rainy Season' hits.

If nothing happens then the Royalty Legislative Instrument that was created to facilitate Ratification defaults into Law.

Ratification must be voted on.

The important thing to note here is that the Lands Minister requested that the Royalty Legislative Instrument be processed through Parliament in Parallel to the Ewoyaa Agreement the he was submitting to Parliament. He knows about the 21 days for the Royalty Legislative Instrument and should therefore have scheduled the Ewoyaa Agreement to be processed in parallel with it. The Ewoyaa Agreement is dependent on the Royalty Legislative Instrument, they are intrinsically linked, which is why I think they will both be discussed in the same Parliament Sitting day.

It's actually only 6 days of Parliament time left, because:

26th Feb is a half day to prep for the President's address to the nation on 27th.

27th Feb is a half day due to the President's address to the nation in the morning.

6th Mar is a public holiday.

7.5 days of Parliament time to the Royalty Legislative Instrument becoming Law. It can do not be annulled with 2/3 of the vote, but the Minority, the only ones that would possibly try to block it, only have 1/3 of the vote. Anyone watching Ghana Parliament Live on YouTube knows there's no chance of half of the Majority Party going against their own legislation, they be lucky if just one Minister voted against it.

I still think both Ratification and Royalty LI will be discussed together before the LI goes into Law, because the Royalty LI was created to facilitate Ratification and intended to go through Parliament in parallel, it makes no sense to put them through separately.

The big difference between SOLG and ALL are:

1) ALL rejected £222m (roughly 30p now) three years ago, they definitely won't take anywhere near that now.

2) The value of Spodumene and Feldspar is going up, are far more than the cost of extraction, are forecast to keep going up for at least the next 4 years and the higher it goes the more profit the owner will make

3) ALL hasn't been ramped with impossible valuations like £1 or £2 per share, the valuation of 50p or 60p is fair and reasonable based on the assets and income from Ewoyaa

4) The board of Atlantic Lithium are big shareholders and have ZERO interest in selling the company for any less than it's worth

I think 50p might just about get a foot in the door to discuss the valuation. This gives Atlantic Lithium the opportunity to provide the bidder with our valuation of not only Ewoyaa but all the other Licences, with the hope that a revised offer might be forthcoming that increases to value the whole business rather than just Ewoyaa, as appears to be the case with the recent bidder.

Atlantic Lithium have to take serious offers seriously and 50p only needs to increase by 10p from discussions to reach your 60p, so must be deemed a serious offer worthy of discussing. It could also trigger a bidding war, so is worth announcing talks in the hope others turn up with better offers.
