Nobody will get Atlantic Lithium for a song, the board have confirmed that by rejecting three offers, one which must have been well above the first two otherwise Atlantic Lithium would not have got into discussions and paid legal advisors.

MSAR may also have become more important due to the delays in sign off, because it can be rolled out after a short Proof Of Concept over 2-3 weeks to confirm the data on the MSC Leandra, plus a premium on their insurance to use MSAR under the Interim LONO.

After all the delays, there's no need to wait another 8 months for a LONO to complete before getting the monetary savings and emissions reductions impacting the business, get MSAR rolled out to all suitable vessels fitted with Scrubbers.

Rolling out MSAR has got to be much easier than setting up all the supply lines for BioMSAR, it's just residue, water and Surfactants.

My thoughts on the question, it's answer and no follow up questions to get more information than was given:

1) To give the Lands Minister a polite nudge to get it sorted.

2) To ask the basic question but not ask anything that might alert the Minority as to when the Committee will announce their recommendation.

3) To not give an answer that was detailed, keeping the Minority in the dark (and us).

They need to find $25.28bn annually for the Gold they intend to buy to prop up their limited Reserves. The Tax income from Ewoyaa will be substantial and some of it will end up in the Gold buying budget.

As stated in Parliament today, one of the top demands of young people is Jobs.

I'd be well happy if CATL or BYD bought out Atlantic Lithium, they wouldn't try a low ball offer, they know how much the Spodumene is worth and the other Licenses, 50p is the minimum regardless of whether it's a Chinese company or not.

I don't get caught up in conspiracy theory BS, none of it ever turns out to be close to realistic.

Having a feeling it's a Chinese firm is totally irrelevant, you have no idea whatsoever as to who the bidder was, not the tiniest piece of factual information to make that statement.

On top of which, it's totally irrelevant where they are from, all that matters is how much they are willing to pay for this company.

We know for a fact that it must be well above 30p offered because Atlantic Lithium flatly rejected very similar offers twice in late 2023 from Assore and no way in Hell would they then enter discussions and pay legal cost for the same low ball offer in 2026.

The Committee might not be dragging it out, just doing it how it should be done. There is no way to know if the committee is run like Parliament. Parliament is a soap opera where many of them just want to do a show for the viewers. The committee doesn't have a live stream, so nobody is going to be wasting hours every day trying to be a show.

Someone else claiming what their crystal ball tells them is fact, it not fact and it's not 100%, statistical fact is it's 50%, flip a coin.

Not sure what there is to really consider! The agreement was created between Atlantic Lithium and The Government. The Mining Sliding Scale Royalty was created by Government in order to facilitate the Ratification, it was accepted by Atlantic Lithium and added to the Ewoyaa Agreement.

Of course every man and his dog will want to put in their two pennyworth, by 99% of the comments likely have no value as the people don't understand the agreement and how it needs to work for both sides. The 1% might create a small amendment that is of little importance to Atlantic Lithium, that's about it. Atlantic Lithium haven't heard anything so no amendments have appeared yet.

The guy asking the question should have taken the opportunity to ask a supplementary question of when they anticipate the committee to present it's decision.

The Committee was speaking to all stakeholders, then going through all of the replies to see if there were any worthwhile points made.

I still see it as being discussed in Parliament imminently.

I'm wondering if that's changed, because in today's early start Parliament Live the leader of the Majority made the Business Statement for today, he said the Business Committee met yesterday and he said there were 15 questions, he then detailed who those questions would be asked to and none of them were to the Lands Minister?
