IMC Questions AND answers!!26 Mar 2026 10:12
This morning the rest of my questions were answered, you'll note I was correct with my recent posts about MSAR going commercial after it's PoC. I hope you find these answers more useful than the comments certain people leave on every post I make, filter them, not me, I'm here to help.
Your pre-submitted questions:
Question 1: Peter, you said in your interview this week "particularly MSAR offers price competitiveness, so that's where our focus has to be", so is the intention to roll out MSAR commercially once the PoC data analysis is done and the PoC signed off as successful by MSC?
Answer1: Correct, subject to securing a refinery offtake agreement.
Question 2: Are you aware of the Panama 01-26 power tender, where thermoelectric plants running on bunker or diesel that win long-term Government contracts (2026-2038) must convert to cleaner fuels within 36 months and, is this a target for bioMSAR / bioMSAR Zero with any of our Panama Clients?
Answer 2: Yes, we are aware. MSAR and bioMSAR are both classified as Alternative Fuels by the authorities in Panama, and hence can be considered in this tender for long-term Power Purchase Agreements as an alternative to LNG and LPG.
Question 3: We were advised that the Panama fuel permits were expected to be received by the end of 2025, what has held them up? Are you working with Government on getting our fuels cleared to be used as 'cleaner fuels' as per the Panama 01-26 Tender, is this part of the permitting plan now?
Answer 3: MSAR and bioMSAR are both now classified as Alternative Fuels by the authorities in Panama. Import permits have been agreed in principle, however we need to secure a residue feedstock supply and the related logistics contracts needed to complete this process and pay the import permit fee.
Question 4: With the OCP trial, are you looking at setting up Mediterranean fuel supply as previously, or would the fuel now be made in Antwerp and shipped to Morocco?
Answer 4: For post-trial commercial supply, we are looking to secure a Mediterranean based supplier.
