RE: Time to move forward9 Feb 2019 14:27
100% agree with Yanis's post below, what's going on here is not helpful at all and will not benefit any of the shareholders !! Yes, we should not back off from seeking answers but we can seek this in a non-self-destructing way.
"You are outlining some very valid points here, that deserve answers - agree with you and want answers too.
Nobody said that we should not be seeking answers to these questions. Of course we should, but we should be asking these questions in a diplomatic friendly way, not hostile.
The latter alienates people and back off, then you get nothing and the uncertainty and speculation continues.
Yes, there have been lots of issues and events that damage the SP ... promises that did not materialise, Lidsey, Bergen financing, America2030 affair, placings, Brockham, recent YA financing, BOD change ...
All of these events happened under Vonk. America2030 affair and BOD change aside, Vonk is responsible for all of these by virtue of being in charge.
Vonk is now gone. Tidswell has implied in his tweets that his hands were tied. All was said is to give him the benefit of doubt on this give him a chance (we can still ask questions).
Lessons learned are very important yes. Tidswell already indicated in his tweet that he appreciates planning and critical spares, he criticised this himself. That is a lesson learned to me.
As far as the BOD change is concerned is a done deal. America2030 affair was really bad, but personally I am sure Tidswell learned his lesson, if nothing else it costed him a lot of shares. All we need is a BOD announcement for closure.
Yes, we should not back off from seeking answers but we can seek this in a friendly way.
Personally I am going to email the company asking them to announce a forward plan along with a timeline, Brockham as a priority, then Balcombe and Lidsey.
I truly appreciate Alan’s technical contribution to this board, but his approach to Tidswell is very hostile and this not to our interest. Not only it may cause Tidswell to back off (then uncertainty and speculation will continue), but also if you are a new prospective shareholder looking in and all you see is unhappy shareholders hostile to the BOD and clearly implying that they are incompetent why would you invest in this company?
We can ask our questions, early indications show that our concerns will be addressed. The new regime has been in place for only 2 weeks now and we have already seen distinct changes for the better.
Let us give them a chance for now, some time to see what they can do without us being hostile to them. Who knows, we might be pleasantly surprised. Tidswell tweeted ‘watch this space …” – it must mean something."
