OuperOwl, I expected an RNS before the weekend to support the placing news, so I am abit surprised that Angus chosen to stay on silent mode, including Tidswell (no tweets since 8th of Feb). We also have a new 'well known' nomad but we haven't seen any of his magic yet.

Saying that, I also don't think that Lucan spent the last 4 weeks in his new office playing candy crush or working on his wife's new fashion collection ! Something is cooking in the background : "that this best positions the Company to exploit the value of our asset base >>>as we proceed with our well-defined strategy>>I look forward to updating shareholders on this<< and the progress of our forthcoming Board appointments shortly.""

Maybe Angus wants to present a comprehensive rns to the market next week which in my opinion should include their "well-defined strategy", but again it doesn't make sense to run to the shareholders with any bad news (especially the boardroom shenanigan which they announced to the public then sorted it out on our expense) but at the same time to stay on silent mode re ANY positive update to support the all time low share price or to give their investors some hope.

I am very disappointed by Angus old/new bod, let alone sitting on a substantial loss .........

Yeah I noticed that, I just managed to buy : 12:04:56 4.2278 145,232 6,140 , then got offered 4.23 to sell it !

Actually that makes perfect sense Northman1, I don't think they spent much of the 1.5 million so it will be more logical to pay back YA then to do the placement over a longer period of time, possibly to sell for much higher that the current sp after they release some positive updates to the market.

Absolutely Russell, otherwise how do you expect Angus to come up with £1.5M before Saturday (within the next 48hrs)?

I was expecting RNS by today with an update on whats going on, otherwise how the company would expect to sell 55 million shares ?

Having said that, Lucan was not born yesterday and he is certainly not an amateur, he was described by Angus as:

So he knows who the equity placing works.... imo something is cooking in the background !

I'd like to think that 1M shares order was also a buy but crossed AMC (After market close) transaction because the highest bid after 4:20pm was 4.16p

True Drewky but you know AAOG's share react fast to any news, a couple of days ago sp started the day with 20% above closing, now all ambiguity being 'put to bed' we never know when to expect another payment from SNPC or any other positive update.

The sp rock bottom for 2019 been 9.41 so far and it always bounced back up from this level so why someone would sell for loss at rock bottom sp rather than topping up and enjoy watching steady sp recovery with only positive updates head ... I'm referring to investors and value traders here not day traders......

Drewky, AAOG wanted a better communication with its investors and to share with them the current news, not the entertain the day traders. We know what to expect next and when to expect it, we know how much the company just received from SNPC and we also have an idea about the repayment plan. Who gonna frack the site and when it will happen.. I think its all clear now to whoever was seeking clarity on going on atm.

Since the beginning of this year, aaog's sp always bounced back from 9.5p (market manipulation), 9.41p was the rock bottom for today so I believe we will see the sp moving back up in the afternoon.

gkb47 sorry mate but almost all of the AIM companies don't give two hoots about existing shareholders......

gkb47, I am not impressed either by the so called improved communication, so far we didn't receive any meaningful updates from Lucan who promised the following three weeks ago :

I think the sp is currently so low to a point bod can't afford to announce half the news and add more ambiguity, they are buying time here so I'd expect them to release a comprehensive RNS by the 21st of Feb. to boost the SP. They way I see it, Angus will issue a comprehensive RNS tomorrow morning or on Thursday (21st of Feb) to provide updates on all of its sites to reassure the market about the work progress in order to support the equity placing which will become effective on the 21 of Feb. (even though I personally think that most of the placing shares have already been forward sold).

According to Lucan, the company is working 'within this very tight timetable, to refinance our facilities accordingly' & Angus needs the money to pay back YA loan 'within 45 calendar days from the date of drawdown and the lock-up period' so they have to make sure that the placing will be successful and they will be able to pay back YA before this Saturday!
