Alan he'll never report anything positive about Angus unless it benefits him.. The crane video will give him a 7% day trade profit which he seems after ..... I wouldn't be surprised if the 250k sell at 5.9 was his !

Seriously ? after all the deramping on Twitter and taking the p155 of Angus and its shareholder you still believe anything FOTH says ?!!

We are in the same boat mate, I am sitting on a massive loss at the moment due to the unexpected sp drop. Saying that, I wont blame people on here really, if things gone as expected (As PV explained in numerous interviews) then sp should have been above 15p last month but the shenanigan in the boardroom caused panic selling then the unexpected delay and finally the water problem which they should sort out soon... imo you only have Angus bod to blame really !

Saying that, don't worry much about uk for now, sp there wont take off before Q3/Q4 because they are not in the production phase yet, they are still testing and it costs money as you know..

Once Angus isolates the water zone which imo wouldn't take much time, things will get back to normal here ...meanwhile I think we will see slow recovery in the sp ..

Waynesmith, Oil is flowing a few miles away, Angus & Alba MDs confirmed oil in RNSs plus Angus operations director tweeted yesterday "Confident we can get this going nicely" and last night our independent expert Alan confirmed that water isolation at Brockham is "a very easy fix" so Brockham is very unlikely to be a total crock !

Glad to know that you don't see the water isolation at Brockham as difficult problem to solve and it is 'a very easy fix' as you just described it.

My background is mechanical engineering and I am not involved in the O&G sector but when I read the RNS, first thing came to my mind was exactly what you just said below :

"All Angus have to do is run packers and seal if the water zone above and below. This will then allow the well to be produced from the oil zones above the water zone and below it. Case solved. "

So I am really surprised that the far-more-experience-than-me staff at Brockham didn't figure it out at the time then they decided to wait for 4-6 weeks before starting to think about a solution to the problem !

Anyway its in the past now.........

1-Working on water isolation solution all day. Old low cost and very good operations team back together under Lucan. Watch this space..

2-For the record these taking the company private rumours are rubbish. I have more invested than anybody. Worked offshore 10 years to save enough to start angus.
Not seeing anybody else screwed out of a penny. Hence I did what I did recently

3-Very happy and relieved George Lucan wants me and the company to constantly engage and keep investors informed. It’s all of our money..... Think investors would actually have more rights to information than they do

Thanks gkb47, so no need for new application here, work over rig already been approve and from the paragraph below we have an idea about the likely time frame to sort out the water issue ( 1-2 weeks) ... I guess this is why they used ‘now’ & ‘as soon as possible’ instead of ‘in due course’ in the RNS :

“Angus Energy is now putting together a further engineering program to isolate this water zone which will, subject to agreement from all regulators, include the return of a work over rig and the Company will update the market as soon as possible.“

Apart from unexpected water issue, the heads of Angus and Alba comments on today's RNS seems optimistic about Brockham test result :

***George Frangeskides, Alba's Chairman, commented: "Confirmation from Angus Energy that the well has flowed naturally and that oil has been produced to surface are 'clear positives' arising' out of the recent test programme at Brockham.

We look forward to further proposals from Angus in respect of tackling the water influx which they report as having inhibited oil flow, so that we can more readily evaluate the full potential of the Kimmeridge limestones at Brockham."

**Angus Managing directors Statement:

"I am 'very pleased' with the oil analysis clearly confirming Kimmeridge oil at Brockham. The water zone is obviously an unexpected hindrance but, with natural flow to surface and evidence of oil, we remain quietly optimistic of achieving commercial success at Brockham.

Brockham in combination with Balcombe could be 'transformational for the Company' and oil production in the Weald."

Within less than one working week the new MD provided an update on Brockham which we all been shouting for. Now, this is off the way, hope they'll act fast on ground and show some positive progress ....

......Meanwhile, still waiting for a positive update from Balcombe.

RNS on 5th of November 2018:

Placing to raise £2.0 million :

- 22,222,222 new Ordinary Shares placed at 9 pence per share with institutional and other investors

- Production at Brockham from the Kimmeridge layers planned to commence before end of this year

- Net placing proceeds of approximately £1.85 million for general working capital purposes and business development opportunities

**Angus has enough money to fund the extra work needed in Brockham.

Anselmeso, The recent overdone heavy drop in the sp was due the the boardroom clash ANNDD to the delay at Brockham so it’s already included in the current shareprice .... this is the rock bottom!

We really need to keep in mind that whatever been posted on here and on Twitter are only speculations and we don’t know what’s going at Brockham until we receive an update from the SOURCE .

All what we know from the company, only 5 days ago :

*Operations Update:

Operationally, the Board have set out their plans to:

· deliver the well test on the Balcombe Field Discovery as was reported in RNS dated 2 October 2018;

· continue with the Brockham well test that is currently ongoing - an update will be provided in due course;

· continue production at Lidsey at the currently achievable rates of 20-40 bopd whilst investigating feasible ways to improve well performance on this field.

As far as we know, nothing nagative took place on ground since the boardroom clash and the sp was heavily beaten because of the boardroom coop, lack of updates from the sites and all the deramping from the army of trolls here and on Twitter which caused panic sell-off. The new MD who just stepped through the door said :

“ One area of governance where I believe we can make immediate and significant improvements to our relationship with shareholders is in the way we communicate the Company’s operational activities. As an immediate priority, I wish to improve this aspect of how the Company operates and ensure that they are comprehensively informed about the Company’s operations.

We are, of course, limited in what we can say by partnership agreements in our licenses as well as strict AIM guidelines and regulations, but nonetheless I hope to provide Shareholders
with considerably more technical detail on works as they progress and at a more frequent interval than they have been used to in the past. This is a change that shareholders can expect to see the results of in the near future as operational updates are released.”

I think we will hear from him very soon so let’s try to be a little more optimistic about the near future. ANGUS sp known to be very volatile and the sp could run back up to double digits on a work progress update.

And the deramping continues through the evening from FOTH who some people on here expect him to provide balanced updates from Brockham - Keep in mind that he doesnt own A SINGLE share in Angus so why do you think he tweets about Angus on daily bases ?

The good thing which came out of this Vonk's shares shenanigan is we now know someone at Angus check every email they receive straight away then pass it to the relevant department. The whole Vonk shares drama came out couple of hours ago so for them to read the email then to contact the third party in charge of updating Angus's website to make some changes means they are trying to avoid any further uncertainty in the market AND they know from the waves of emails received over the past couple of days that the market and many concerned shareholders need an urgent update about Brockham ! Probably they will try to get some more work done over the weekend then give us an initial update on monday/tuesday to calm the market .
