No I agree with the smoking part of the conversation, certainly went a way to improving health. Although vaping among youths has become an even worse pandemic than kids smoking cigarettes, they are easily attainable and high in choice and a lot knockoffs from China. So I'd say its exasperated the situation, and what's even worse, its mainly all cheap unrecycle plastic in the hands of youth. So once again, on a bigger picture the argument then collapses on itself, as kids just chuck them once finished.
But I agree, social responsibility needs to play a massive part in it all, but I believe higher taxes and drifting towards lower standards of living will only exasperate the issue further.
Unfortunately we are so far down the rabbit hole that these studies on social and societal economics won't apply here and only get implemented in countries like Dubia, or Singapore or places like Norway where living conditions give opportunity for these studies to breath.
Us, we just add tax. The pinnacle of stupidity, keep doing the same practices, and expecting new results
